Bennett has yet to fail me and is currently very good to use with Mavuika and Durin. He is projected to be Varka's BIS too so he's safe to use for this year.
Sucrose has aged well as the VV, EM buffer and TTDs holder in Flin's teams or any team with the Ineffa and Columbina wheel chair.
Fischl is the go to 4 star Hexerei partner for Durin.
C6 Chevreuse is going to age rather well unless a 5 star variant of her releases. She has unlocked Hyper Carry Durin for me alongside my C6 Bennett.
Kuki and hyper bloom are still useable if the Abyss is favorable for it.
Lunar Charge doesn't require constant hydro application so I've found my Xingqiu getting benched lately.
Durin is so much easier to build and use than Xiangling so she's been benched, but I've brought her back out to stick pyro onto Frost Night Herra or deal with that giant crab robot thing.
Note that abyss in general can still be cleared with 4 stars and you really don't need to stress about Stygian. Just grab the primos and go, Dire mode is for the sweats.

Screw meta. 4 stars just don’t start being useless just because of some new gameplay mechanics they’re still useful.

Fischl is my first 4-star char from wish. She still looks good for Electro applier and battery in my team even though i have many Electro off fielder char

Chevy. By far my most used.
Benny, Kachina, Shinobu & Sucrose get regular use. Layla and Faruzan in certain teams. Orororon, Aino & Ifa make a good team. Xiangling in overload. Xiangling really needs C4. I only just got it and it's such a QoL improvement.

Sethos is one of the DPS I use to clear endgame content so I use him *a lot*. Fischl is his best teammate so she's used a lot too. Ditto for Faruzan who I pair with Wanderer for clears.
Bennett was one of the few 4\*s I used more often but he's getting benched now due to Durin being a thing.

Sucrose first comes to mind. Her EM transfer, CC and VV makes her still amazing.
Another is Xiangling is still one of the best pyro off field sub-dps, esspecially since options are still limited.
And Layla whenever I need a shielder. Since I don't have Zhongli. I find everyone else's shields break so easily, except Layla's which is super sturdy.
