1.0 4 Star Gang Fearless Crab w/ C0R0 Childe

Haven't figured out a 4 star only solution for this boss *yet*, but I want to shoutout Childe for being a very good solution for meeting the hydro check on this boss!

Xingqiu isn't actually necessary for the shield breaking, Childe is more than capable of hitting the hydro check on his own like this (although you may not get 5 shield breaks, 4 is definitely doable). This is just the best 4 star combo I was able to come up with.

Yeah, Childe's ability to break shields is just ridiculous. I don't think any 4 star can match him.

Congrats

it's kinda hard to match the same effect with the 4 star roster we have unfortunately 😭 I need a 2nd Xingqiu for this stuff

parnubay2026-01-26 04:46

If you didn’t have Childe, which 5 star characters would you say could replace him for this boss?

a-lonely-stargazer2026-01-26 13:26

there is no sufficient Childe replacement for clearing like this, he's what enables this clear. Triple hydro + flex slot is what I see the most but I haven't done any of those clears myself yet

Logical_Boat88662026-01-26 14:09

Mualani + Furina is goated, I cleared with 10 seconds to spare on fearless with Kazuha and Xilonen as 3rd and 4th.

imnotthinkinghard2026-01-26 06:16

would yelan work if I replace ajax with her?

a-lonely-stargazer2026-01-26 13:24

this strategy makes use of Childe's mechanics and his extremely good hydro application so there is no sufficient Childe replacement.

newplayer1352026-01-25 17:40

really nice idea, this sub doesn't pay enough attention to stuff like this

a-lonely-stargazer2026-01-25 17:55

I didn't really expact anyone to see this here ngl so it's no biggie for me, I just hope that better word on using Childe gets out since I find him the most fun solution for the shield check on this boss!

This is insane dude - love seeing old characters clear shilled content

Rex_Lapis_2026-01-26 03:13

Not only old, the oldest

Then-Network-68612026-01-26 12:17

Legit ,third ever limited 5 star. But Klee and Venti got kit buffed so technically oldest limited 5 star kit

Why the favonious warbow and noblesse instead of a more DPS focused set?

I have a c2 childe and want to try this to free up my neuv, just wanted to see if the build needed to be significantly changed

a-lonely-stargazer2026-01-26 03:04

I need the double Fav on the team for energy management for keeping Fischl uptime and Childe's melee ults, so figured I might as well go with Noblesse too

mreowimakat2026-01-26 04:05

Solid reasoning. I'm gonna see if I can leave my childe on his DPS set and get consistent ults given mine is c2, but you've given me inspiration lol.

a-lonely-stargazer2026-01-26 04:21

let me know if you're able to get it! I'd love to see more Childe runs 🙂‍↕️

mreowimakat2026-01-26 04:26

No promises, I have the huge handicap of sucking

mreowimakat2026-01-26 09:07

I have failed to use your team to beat Stygian. BUT I did manage to do a dual dps set up with neuv, childe, sucrose, and fisch. Taser childe was very good at breaking the crabs.

That team helped me free up furina for a skirk team for the stormmaster guy, and also freed up kazuha and xilonen for my arle team for the dog.

Sooo still beat fearless in the end, THANKS

a-lonely-stargazer2026-01-26 13:27

hey as long as it works, a clear is a clear!! Congrats on beating fearless 🙂‍↕️

Nero_PR2026-01-26 01:30

I love Childe's riptide effect, but holy molly is his damage low. Great use of his mechanics.

AverageIceCube2026-01-26 03:42

This is insanely impressive. Crazy.

Icy-Childhood-45872026-01-26 04:44

Thanks for the video now I know what I did wrong. Your video gave me courage to push through a little more, thanks.

LordDhaDha2026-01-26 07:00

Tartaglia and Venti were the main reasons as to why when Inazuma came, they started to put one big enemy and/or bosses in the Abyss, rather than hordes of small ones. Simply because those two would absolutely slaughter everything otherwise

They still had Events up until like Fontaine where you could cheese the enemies with infinite Riptide. Ah I miss the fun you could have back in the day

Then-Network-68612026-01-26 12:16

My GOAT Ajax still got it

kucing982026-01-26 15:09

crazy work, have u done this with mualani? with any of her team comps?

a-lonely-stargazer2026-01-26 15:19

don't have Mualani I'm afraid, but I know she's good for this boss. You're supposed to target the mini crabs with her I believe

1aUhrensohn2026-01-26 21:47

Thank you so much! With your team i could finally beat the crab and fearless now! I just changed Xingqui with my C2 Yelan because she does more damage.

a-lonely-stargazer2026-01-26 22:20

yay another childe enabled clear!! Congrats on beating fearless 🥳
