Even some still alive creators get their channel swooped under their feet in favor of either crypto-scam or random stuff like this, it's pretty bad, really.
I've recently came across an old user who had ton of great music playlist of many genres, just to have their account hacked/lost, and the new user thought it was a really funny idea to not change a single thing at all except put an hours long crypto-scam propaganda vid titled "Unreleased Track" from another alt-account in the middle of every music playlist.
If an old inactive channel has been sold and readapted there nothing you can do about that.. But for such case like i explained above you could always report and hope, but Youtube doesn't seems to care so far as i didn't get any return on the couple of cases i noticed/reported with explanations.
