I started playing the game today.

You will have a lot of free pulls if you're just starting. Like hundreds. And you'll get more every patch for free from events and playing the game. No need to spend

You can get quite a number of whises by playing through the story of the game but there will be a point that you'll have to pay if you are auper unlucky with your pulls.

As for things tou should be doing now to get a good start I would say just enjoy the game at your own pace and use the units you like as all of them are good for the story. It's the endgame where teams truly matter.

And here are a few tips as well:

- Only spent your primogems on the limited banner and not the standard banner especially if you decide to stay F2P

- Before you decide to pull on a character you can see if you like their playstyle though their Test Run

- Play the game at your own pace and enjoy everything the world has to offer. It's not a race

- Don't advance your world level to quickly as it could result in some unexpected difficulty spikes. Onky progress if you feel like you are completely overpowered

Just a few tips

Tip 1:

Do not try to do everything at once and overwhelm yourself. You will not complete all the content in a 100-hour run, like most other games, this is a game for the long-haul.

Tip 2:

When doing the big quests, they tend to get a bit dialog heavy. If you feel like you are getting worn down from the dialog, look for the save icon in the corner and then exit. It will tell you that you will lose progress, but if you see the save icon, you can resume from that point. There are still countless people that complain about this part of the game that can easily just take a break.

Tip 3:

Be a saver if you are F2P - in fact, be a saver even if you pay for primos. You might think you have a ton of Primos, but trust me, they, they spend fast. Don't pull on standard banners with earned primos, only use fates you earn directly from battle passes and upgrading your character.

Tip 4:

Do not spend your Fragil Resin unless you get to a certain level (I don't recall the exact level) save those for domain grinding when you start to unlock 5\* artifacts and books

You can absolutely access everything in this game without paying. The only thing that changes by spending money is how often you get limited 5 star units. Roughly it's like this:

F2P: 5 star every 2-3 patches

Welkin/Battle Pass: 5 star once per patch

Crystal top ups: however many 5 stars as your budget allows

Get a good support that will keep your team from dying if you upgrade your world level too quickly. As a caveat, don’t upgrade your world level if your characters are not fully leveled for your current world level

Don't bother with Artifacts and Gacha, YET. Around AR45 is where you really wanna do some Domains for your characters/weapons mats. You're pretty early in the game, so just enjoy the experience. Rushing would just burn you out.

When you are collecting the „Culus“stuff that is scattered all around the map, do yourself a favour and mark the spot on the map. Thank me later for this.

Ignore Twitter, Facebook, TikTok. Play at pace comfortable for you and enjoy.

Upgrading weapons and talents increase your damage not lvls…then when your around AR40 you can farm artifacts

Wait til 40-45 to farm artifacts. In the meantime just use what you have.

Level up weapons and talents to ensure you are always doing optimal damage.

Focus on one starting team with good synergy to carry you through to mid game.

Save all the primos and wishes you get until you’ve decided a character you want to main. As a new player going for the Colombina and ineffa core in the current banners will be strong enough to carry through the game if you like these characters. So that’s something to consider

Also can Consider rerolling to get a better starting character.

Yes you can get the gacha currency for free by playing the game but once you caught up with all the latest content don't expect to get 10,000 primogems in a week.

Currency management advices I think might help:

Use primogems to wish on the limited banners ONLY. Do not use them to buy resins or anything else. You will find you gain a good amount of primogems early in the game but they will become increasingly rarer, they're limited and precious, spend them wisely.

Every month, 5 Intertwined Fates (pink limited wishing spheres) and 5 Acquaint Fates (blue standard spheres) will be available to buy in the shop (Paimon's bargains), with Stardust, a free currency you get from wishing. It is recommended to buy them every month, as soon as you have Stardust. You will accumulate Stardust after wishing for a while, prioritise spending it on fates (pink first), then anything else you need but it's best to save it for the upcoming months. It's 5(limited)+5(standard) free pulls every month, it might look little but it helps!
