This type of super detailed compass only exists for Nodkrai but not for the other nations. Even if you reach 100% through other means, you can still miss chests or puzzles.

Fontaine's main area I assume means Court of Fontaine area, which includes Annapausis which unfortunately has a LOT of mora chests. They don't give seals or primos yet hold the exploration back from being 100%.

Yeah the increasing levels of "compass strength" works great for Nod Krai, but I'm not sure what'd be the best system to tie the previous areas to. Reputation *could* work, but Reputation in previous areas wasn't completely tied to Exploration, since you could complete it with mostly just Requests/Bounties. Maybe just retroactively add a secondary scaling level to all areas' reputation systems?

I think you can still tie the compass upgrades to exploration%, since there are claimable tasks in each reputation system for exploration% anyways. The only issue is that the tasks are for 20%, 40%, and 60% exploration. So maybe just add an 80% exploration task (it’s fine because most regions are much larger than Nod Krai so even though NK wants 90%, the relative effort of getting to the final compass level is lower in NK) and give out compass upgrades for 40%, 60%, and 80% exploration.

They could retroactively tie it to the place you offer your coins.
You can have it scale with the Fountain of Lucine/Stone Tablet/Sakura Tree (Sakura tree already does it with Electrograma) and Vanarama Tree levels.
The previous regions can get you to Level 40 reputation easily with a 70-75% completion in all areas + Level 7 statue.
And for Liyue and Mondstadt it could be tied to their statue level. Since I’m sure almost all the players have collected their occuli’s

Pretty sure pre-2.0 Mondstadt, All of Liyue (except the 2 Chasm zones), and all of Inazuma and Enkanomiya would be easy. The 10k+ Mora search points weren’t added until the Chasm. So the Chasm through to Natlan would be more complex of a retrofit

No it isn't here it seems. I explored 6.0 Nod-Krai via browser-map and I only reached 100% once I opened the Shrine chests you need the keys for. Everything else (mora chests, normal chests, ...) was already collected.

No I do not remember it wrong. Because it was really weird I distinctively remember that I had to open the Shrine to reach 100% after the whole map was 'empty'.

Go to the thousand winds temple and look at the three elemental monuments up top. After you make sure those are lit up, smash the barrels.
