How do i make use of columbina

The problem is what the title says. i just came back 2 days ago, since i last stopped just right after the kokomi island update.

However, i just got columbina c1 less than 15 mins ago, and when i researched, it said i need some nod krai charas to make her work. ineffa is also good for her, but i dont think i can gather enough primos to get her.

can anyone suggest what i should do? im also thinking i still need to wait a week or 2 just before i can get into the place where i can farm mats for columbina. im having a friend pilot my acc to unlock all the other areas i havent unlocked yet.

All 5s except C2 raiden and C1 Columbina are c0. maybe some constellations on mona and qiqi but i forgot. what team comp can i make out of these? im currently using

ayaka, raiden, benett, mona

ganyu, kokomi, xinqui, sucrose

In your place I would do this :

Level up Columbina, use her like a normal hydro character for now. She won't have good damage but you will be able to have fun with the new element reactions which is the most important. Then you can pair her with any Electro, Dendro, Geo character that is also high level.

From there, 2 choices :
- You grind the game a lot and get enough primos to pull for Zibai which is the banner after Ineffa. Then you can play the Lunar Crystallize team who will be good.

- You don't have enough primos. Plan B. You get Aino for free when you start Nod Krai. You play Columbina and Aino together, which will slightly boost the lunar reactions. Then you play your best characters that apply either Electro or Geo along them. And you pray a rerun of any lunar characters comes back, or a new characters with lunar.

Don't underestimate the exploration primos, if you are late you will get a ton of them.

Columbina is a great hydro applier, lunar enabler and buffer. Level everything up and give her fav codex (battery role) or proto amber (healer role). Use Serenade Moon artifact if no one else in the team use it and go for Aubade if someone else already does.

Once this is done. There are three path you can take for now.

1. Flins + Ineffa for Lunar Charge team
2. Nefer + Lauma for Lunar Bloom team
3. Zibai + Iluga 4\* for Lunar Crystalize team (more affordable than others)

All of them is currently competing for top nod krai DPS. Pick whichever team you fancy.
