DOES THIS MEAN??
Hear me out.
As we know(a lot of ppl did at least) the fake moon, part of the firmament AKA the false sky, look identical to our IRL moon. Before, ppl who mentioned this came under fire of genshin community toxicity, but now it should be a different story after 6.3 and new theories surfaced.
And at this point of the story, we've learned that the traveler twins were aliens on migration to other habitable planets. So, by whatever theory you believe the Heavenly principles is - be them our AI companion on our interstellar journey, or some other cosmic entity - would this mean that they hailed from Earth(our world)? Because they chose none other than our moon to be part of the sky illusion when any other look would've worked just fine for a moon.
Now, if the heavenly principles being our AI assistant turns out to be true, that'd make the twins Earthlings, or by certain cosmic theories, aliens from an identical planet like our Earth from another corner of the universe.. that'd be wild.
It's just a theory. But Hoyo is known for sneaking in details, for good or bad. So I don't think the false moon being identical to our rl version was an oversight.

Let us cleanse and take all the Dark Sea areas Hoyo, I love painting the map.
First Paimon, now the HP...
I don't want the Traveler to be the most powerful, special being like Rover.
No. It does not. The patterns are different than those pictured by the OP.
So, yes - HP deliberately patterned the false moon to look like Earth's moon. Whether this means that HP came from our Earth, or some alt-universe equivalent, it's still likely that they were trying to emulate the same moon that we're familiar with.
