Teyvat is such a small world compared to the real world
I’m currently playing the Easybreeze Holiday Resort event quest, and decided to go the the opposite of map to the farthest point to see how big Teyvat is. To measure, I currently have a step for the quest in Huha Hill, and standing at the farthest most part of the map to the east (which is the southern most point on Tsurumi Island) and it measures ≈19,000 m, which makes it 19 km (or about 12 miles). The city I live in covers 164 sq mi (424 sq km), so comparatively, Teyvat is very small compared to most real world cities. Has anyone else noticed this?

It's the same reason why Minecraft isn't one-to-one as well. Their "mountains" are only several hundred meters but in real life they can be thousands of meters high. It's not a mistake, it's to make it so that the terrain can be more navigable from a player's point-of-view.
Edit: This is a very old reference but I'd refer you to a [video](https://youtu.be/xUiDc6pOfxw) by EC Henry on a planet in Star Trek Voyager's intro. It's not new that people creating fictional worlds will break the laws of physics from time to time either for spectacle or convenience.
There's a reason worlds in games aren't 40,000,000 km in size round the equator... ponder that for a while.
Worlds in games are snapshots, fragments of representation of the world in general, not everything is 100% literal, thankfully.
