Quick question: What does Elevation mean in the formula?
headphonesnotstirred2026-01-26 15:11
it's that special DMG boost Nod-Krai characters (except poor Jahoda) have in their Constellations -- a DMG boost calculated separately from stuff like Elemental DMG Bonus (which Lunar DMG doesn't use to begin with)
h2odragon002026-01-26 20:30
Is this different from say Ineffas ascension passive they boost her LC dmg up to 14%?
headphonesnotstirred2026-01-26 22:44
yeah, that's a [Reaction Base DMG Bonus](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Damage#Reaction_Base_DMG_Bonus), which is applied to the Talent's DMG multiplier -- as opposed to [Elevation](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Damage#Elevation), which is applied near the end of DMG calculation (directly before Crit DMG and RES multipliers, in fact)
h2odragon002026-01-27 05:31
Huh. Apparently, Ineffa does not increase elevation.
I checked hers and didn't see it. Probably because Ineffa was introduced in Natlan rather than Nod Krai.
Purple-Ebb-53382026-01-26 03:22
when will the columbina guide be out?
w0lnut2026-01-26 04:41
Probably when zibai is out. So they don’t miss teams
Grafting_Amigos2026-01-26 04:45
Why would that mean they miss teams. They can just... Update the page...
I know most characters don't get updates on KQM but I imagine an update 3 weeks later wouldn't be a huge ask
w0lnut2026-01-26 04:46
They take forever to update characters bro. Durin is still isn’t updated just to include the new set
Grafting_Amigos2026-01-26 05:02
That's even worse lol, everyone expected before there was even a hint of information about the sets that there would be new ones.
Obviously it's not always the same writers doing each page but like, it's not that big of an update and kind of goes against their theorycrafting goals to be outdated 6 weeks after release.
DeathToBoredom2026-01-26 07:35
sounds to me like they need new people. You wanna volunteer since you want it done so badly? Working on it for 5+ years, there's bound to be burn out or w/e
rW0HgFyxoJhYka2026-01-26 21:13
The quick guides were supposed to be the fast way to update but that has very little info and is just at a glance.
They need something inbetween. Youtube guides go a lot indepth into everything about a character.
KQM prides itself on getting things right but being weeks late is not an option, but yeah volunteer work etc. Obviously the motivation to get a youtube video out with as accurate as can be is more important because people need to know asap.
erosugiru2026-01-26 09:13
Volunteer and do it yourself
solarscopez2026-01-26 08:34
Much faster to just look at content creator youtube guides unfortunately, which include more or less the same stuff KQM would but in video form.
KQM provides great text-based resources, but these days they just don't have enough people volunteering to make the guides anymore. It's free labor and people are busy. YouTube content creators on the other hand have a monetary incentive - the faster they are able to get videos out, the more people will watch them and the more views/subscribers/revenue they get.
LiDragonLo2026-01-26 12:04
Theres also that one google sheets guide as well to look at
jinxedandcursed2026-01-26 12:07
The issue is finding them to gain access.
LiDragonLo2026-01-26 12:11
They update it for charas that gets a valid upgrade for their sets/weapons. Hell even charas like klee/durin has been updated to include the hex set.
DiscoMonkey0072026-01-26 13:19
Is one gonna link this google sheets in question?
Agent_RA_62026-01-26 14:00
This is the google sheets that I use, not sure if it's same one that the dude above mentioned.

^ this is the correct link, was gonna share it wen i logged on, but u beat me to the punch
NinoFamilia2026-01-26 10:21
The quick guide is out, https://keqingmains.com/q/columbina-quickguide/
rekage992026-01-26 03:45
4 months late. Gg
zephito2026-01-26 04:14
I'm sure you made a better one faster, right?
Aozora4042026-01-26 04:32
Doesn't make this one any less late
h2odragon002026-01-26 13:32
TBH some of the stuff in the guide has already been in the Genshin Fandom page. Even the formula is copy pasted.
They didn't add anything new.
app082026-01-26 04:34
Shush. These things take time, and these people have lives outside of making KQM guides.
MightySamMcClain2026-01-26 04:23
What's it mean Lc does not snapshot stats? It's not using the current buffs or something?
app082026-01-26 04:36
When a character snapshots buffs, their skill/burst will keep those buffs even after they would normally expire. If a character does not snapshot, their skill will lose the buffs when the character does.
MightySamMcClain2026-01-26 04:42
Oh i see. Thanks i even didn't know it normally does that
Beta3822026-01-26 04:58
It's more meaningful on certain early characters, like Xiangling's Q (can snapshot Bennett's Q, for example) or Fischl's Oz (need to be aware that you have to recast in order to benefit from certain buffs that you typically trigger after first casting).
Most characters from the past few years don't have abilities that meaningfully snapshot.
OrbitalSong2026-01-27 02:54
It's worth noting it's not always a benefit. Snapshotting also means you don't get to benefit from buffs that start after your skill.
Lorellya2026-01-26 04:34
Oh guess those lazy bums aren't dead then, haven't done any updates or new guides on the buffed characters yet.
Jollibeast2026-01-26 05:02
Make your own guide then.
Iihatepineapplepizza2026-01-26 05:14
they're doing this for free bro 😭
ianmeyssen2026-01-26 08:28
Are they indebted to you or something? You aren't entitled to them taking their free time to make these guides for free.
who cares if certain guides are delayed for whatever reason. If you're that lost that you absolutely require in depth info on the reactions go search on youtube or something
thatonedudeovethere_2026-01-26 09:47
Dude, just stfu
You complain about a really in-depth guide that is made for free.
Beta3822026-01-26 04:46
The imbalance between the chosen shorthands of "LC" and "LCrys" makes my eye twitch.
Something consistent would be far better. "LCh" and "LCr", or "LChrg" and "LCrst". But having "LC" still present just invites confusion, and the other be a major outlier in length makes for weird presentation. It's the worst possible choice.
anunimose2026-01-26 04:57
What about Lunar Electro "LE", then "LB"loom and "LC"rystalize, and maybe Lunar Reactions "LR" as a whole
Furicel2026-01-26 05:24
Problem: That would make it for people to not know if by LC you refer to the old standard or the new standard.
I have no problem when folks making a name that doesn't officially exist. But to make new name as the official one already exist only makes further confusion (e.g. version 6.0/6.1/6.2 as version Luna I/II/III)
Koniolg2026-01-26 05:32
I mean it's probably because LC was established like 6 months ago and the name stuck, whereas we got LCrys just a month or so ago.
Beta3822026-01-26 05:37
Doesn't matter, it's trivial to start using a different, more clear and consistent shorthand.
h_hue2026-01-26 05:49
When will we get updated guides for the Hex artifact set (and the Hex buffs in general)?
Rtrohde2026-01-26 06:56
So what’s the TLDR on what stats to prioritize for lunar crystallize teams? Non Zibai (e.g. Noelle) and Zibai respectively, since I understand Zibai worked a little differently.
HehNothingPersonnel2026-01-26 08:24
The way it works is the same as for lunar charged, you want to build your character the way they deal the most damage with the added fact that elemental mastery boosts the reaction by quite a bit. No need to focus on em tho, because theres often already some youre getting externally, like from the nodkrai set effect. So for Zibai, itto, albedo, you want to focus defense and crit stats, for noelle and chiori its a mix of defense and attack, for zhongli it would be atk, etc. Still good to have some em though, just not focus on it over the main stats.
wwweeeiii2026-01-26 07:10
For the lunar charged damage formula, I guess in an Ineffa bina wheel chair, they both get the 1/2 damage contribution. The rest of the team should not even try to build EM?
Vasgortosone2026-01-26 08:39
All I need to know, I don't receive any of them with some 4*
C2ggg2026-01-26 09:25
what character decides the crit rate and crit damage of lc. do they get added the same like
Crate and Cdamage of highest damage + 1/2 (Crate and Cdamage) of the 2nd highest damage and so on?
farcicaldolphin382026-01-26 11:55
I’m still struggling to do any good lunar bloom damage with Lauma. I don’t have Nilou, and it feels like she’s the only one capable of doing high bloom damage right now
Grand_Protector_Dark2026-01-26 17:07
Question, If I were to build a Lunar Charge or Lunar Bloom team with Neuvillette, would equipping him with Dawning frost make sense?
If I understand it right, all the teams stats contribute?

Solution: Lunar Electro "LE", Lunar Dendro "LD", Lunar Geo "LG"
Crate and Cdamage of highest damage + 1/2 (Crate and Cdamage) of the 2nd highest damage and so on?
