What do you mean Mihoyo's had 6 years? What does that have to do with anything?

That looks like a bug. Usually these blooms are visible from further away.
padoru_padoru2026-01-26 06:13
Idk that never happened to me before and im on potato phone maybe its a bug on your side and relog/reinstall
Powerful_Occasion_262026-01-26 06:52
this happened to me too, i thought it's gotta do with my device, but puzzles not showing up unless i get close to them has never happened to me before
Shahadem2026-01-26 08:18
That looks like the same render distance as the Quake engine.
Icy-Childhood-45872026-01-26 10:35
What's your gpu specs? I think it's a bug and can be fixed by updating(or rolling back) drivers.
A_Noelle_Main2026-01-26 13:08
Ain't this like on your device/driver? Render distance like this reduces the load on the processing if you're not looking/not near it.
issm2026-01-27 02:04
Render distance is controlled by the game, not your hardware.
It's meant to reduce system load, yes, but it's the responsibility of the developer to balance visual fidelity and performance demands. If the dev tells the hardware to keep rendering stuff far away, the GPU will keep doing it, performance will just tank.
Also, assuming this *was* intended, the proper thing to do wouldn't be to stop rendering the object clearly in view entirely, but to replace the object with a lower resolution LoD asset.
PikaRainbowGayChu2026-01-26 16:47
I don't think that's render distance, some puzzles only activate when you're in a specific zone, it's that way so you don't solve some puzzles with things from other puzzles
MREAGLEYT2026-01-26 17:32
In genshin they usually use render layers rather than distance. As in when you are inside the given square everything inside this loads and as you exit it, somethings tend to disappear. This is so obvious in the desert
