I leave my characters at lvl 89

In Genshin Impact, if characters were all level 90, where does the exp from world monsters go?

Once a character in Genshin Impact hits Level 90, any EXP they would normally gain from world monsters is essentially wasted.

I think I'll level some of them up to 90 once I 100% all current maps.

True, but I also don't want my characters to reach level 90 in 2 years

LMAO, Hahaha. Imagine assuming you're going to defeat those monsters with those same characters for the rest of your playthrough.

I'm also doing that, since 1.0. For information I have characters that got past the half point, so if I had continuously played with the same characters from exploration/dailies, they would definitely be 90 by now.

And then what about the other 50+ that still got 0 since you had to play the same set of four continuously? 😉

I just like to see the bar go up for each character. It's not really about saving xp, though if a character reach 90, it's about 20+ books saved.
