maybe add Hydro Tulpa as a boss. its been a while since last time
DR4G0NH3ART2026-01-26 10:53
If you have two nod krai carries you are cooked. I have every nod krai unit except flins. Also after a while they may not add columbina(probably there will be a hydro though). There are great many IT versions I don't just use Nilou. Because no dendro.
Joe_from_ungvar2026-01-26 11:27
Nilou in IT? with vape or whatever other buffs? and possibly c1 by now? i would never have a reason to not add her
you can handle stuff without having what youd call a good team
i have used Skirk with Raiden or Thoma before, for example
Flins specifically? ya i might save him for the hydro enemies specifically
Organic-Army-90462026-01-26 12:44
looks like i know who i’m spending my next half year’s worth of resin on (again)
Joe_from_ungvar2026-01-26 12:46
i specified IT though
that doesnt take much effort
Organic-Army-90462026-01-26 12:49
how could i settle on subpar artifacts for best girl nilou
DR4G0NH3ART2026-01-26 17:11
Yeah but hydro has a huge roaster. And in a non dendro IT Nilou is just deadweight. Even in dendro hydro IT sometimes it becomes weird with the rng to manage. Now that I got a free c1 its not as bad to use it only for full uptime hydro. But until last week c0 she has only 60 percent hydro uptime with a few seconds field time and she often gets knocked out during tripple as we rush towards enemy. I like character and story, but the kit is weird and restrictive for the sake of it.
Joe_from_ungvar2026-01-26 17:20
well ya, she was the first character with this level of restriction, not counting Gorou
we got two others by now
justabullshitter2026-01-26 19:00
Literally ZERO characters are deadweight in IT. There are few that subpar due to their very limited elemental application (Mika and Dahlia come to mind) but even they have utility and place in a team. I might be blanking on a specific character that has NO application and NO utility, but even then 99% of characters are super-usable in IT.
Reaction cards are almost always include a path for doing damage when you proc a reaction (they even added a specific IT reactions like Cryo + Dendro for this) so you often can clear alot of non-boss stages with throwaway character and save cool and strong characters for boss and taro card stages.
Only strong limitation of IT clears - having enough lvl70 characters. That's it.
clouddog-1112026-01-26 10:58
no.
Joe_from_ungvar2026-01-26 11:25
Tulpa has been on IT about three times before
it will return
jinxedandcursed2026-01-26 12:04
The real way to do it with more stages is using an anemo to infuse their stuff with hydro. Example being Lynette's summon getting hit with hydro or Kazuha taking hydro damage and the bursting.
Joe_from_ungvar2026-01-26 12:40
hydro infused anemo is very much not useful if enemy is hydro in the first place
jinxedandcursed2026-01-26 12:48
I meant for floors outside of the tulpa.
Joe_from_ungvar2026-01-26 12:57
topic is IT without hydro units
Mikauren2026-01-26 14:06
They're saying getting hit by something such as a hydro hilichurl or abyss mage that will infuse you with hydro and can still take hydro damage. You don't need tulpa for that, and an anemo character will suffice as a placebo hydro character for something like lunar charged if you time your swirl correctly.
KyrrithK2026-01-26 09:24
There's stages with Hydro aura enemies, and likely at least one of the guest stars will be Hydro, so you could bring one team along.
But yeah, you're not wrong.
AbbreviationsRound522026-01-26 09:49
Inb4 the guest star is columbina. Even more shilling
SoC1752026-01-26 09:28
Probably put at least one hydro as special invite
Constant_Refuse_57792026-01-26 09:52
Columbina for special guest. But if you can only use her twice then what about all the other two bosses you need to fight?
SoC1752026-01-26 09:55
You use some else. Adding any one hydro allows for using lunar on 1/3 of the bosses the other 2/3 just have to be killed with something else.
Not sure many F2P and goldfishes have more than 1 lunar DPS anyway
dozenofroses2026-01-26 09:57
What are goldfishes? :D
sakurasaturn2026-01-26 10:29
“Goldfish” simply refers to those who maybe spends $5 to $10 every so often on things like Blessing of the Welkin Moon, Gnostic Hymn upgrade on the Battle Pass, or just enough primos to have one or two more shots at the banner before it rotates out.
EDIT: This is in contrast to those referred to as a “whale,” who spends way more than the $5 to $10 every patch to try and get as many constellations from the current banner as possible, for example.
sharqyej2026-01-26 11:48
thanks, in that case I'd say an average goldfish definitely has more than a single lunar dps, if not all of them, Welkin + BP combo comfortably allows to get every new character, even making it possible to set aside some primos for an occasional sig
TheoreticalScammist2026-01-26 12:32
To me buying every Welkin (let alone BPs) puts a user more into the Dolphin territory. You're spending the amount of a full priced game per year at that point.
SoC1752026-01-26 12:49
Not even close to get every new character, even without adding "comfortably"
As someone who always buys wellkin + BP I do have
Nefer, Durin, Columbina and Ineffa. I will also get Zibai (at least I think I can) and then I hope I'll have enough to pull Lauma on her next re-run (otherwise Nefer may have been not the best choice)
Definately have to pass on Varka and Flins. Probably also Nicole.
And that's with "sinning" once by buying my only ever top up a couple of months ago. Without that I now wouldn't have Ineffa and could only get her or Zibai.
No way to get every new character on just Welkin + BP.
Like 6.3 gives 139 pulls if you buy both Welkin and BP and it's a very generous patch due to lantern rite.
That's about 1 character (assumin average luck on pity and 50:50) rate.
Patch 6.4 will give less than 1 character worth of pulls
jofromthething2026-01-26 12:57
Not even close to accurate. Welkin and BP is like 30-40 pulls per month combined. Even with the freemogems from events you’re likely only getting one 5 star per patch, far from guaranteeing every limited unless you happen to be extremely lucky
sharqyej2026-01-26 13:50
5.X gave around 77-79 pulls on average to f2p players, according to different calcs, NK has been a little bit more generous so far, so let's round it up to 80, even if that would probably be on the lower end. This is just F2P.
Welkin + BP gives 35ish pulls per patch, that brings us to 115 pulls per patch. With older rules, where it was believed that you need around 105-108 pulls to get a character, that'd very often cause issues, however with Capturing Radiance the average is now closer to 90ish pulls, which gives you over 200 pulls space to account for bad luck.
Sure, you could be an abysmal anomaly and need to spend 80 pulls while losing every 50/50 and triggering Radiance at most once every 3 times, which, at its very unluckiest a Genshin player can get, would still net you 7-8 characters out of 10-11 they release per year.
jofromthething2026-01-26 13:59
Which is neither comfortable nor every character my good bestie 😭. It actually doesn’t take a whole lot of bad luck to lose a bunch of 50/50s idk what kind of luck you’re working with but that isn’t the norm lol
FatalWarrior2026-01-26 15:08
Wouldn't that just be dolphins?
Helios42422026-01-26 15:26
in most games theres enough of a gap between ultra high and low spenders that dolphins arent just pass buyers.
Whales C6R5 most everything. Dolphins probably stick to a few teams, maybe not as much weapon investment.
FatalWarrior2026-01-26 15:32
OP contrasted those who spend 5-10$ with whales, which means that anyone who spends more is a whale. As such, "goldfish" are just dolphins.
Where one divides the line between sea mammals varies, but if you're introducing a fish, don't remove that animals already there.
Helios42422026-01-26 16:11
Nah, they say "way more". They did not turn this into a binary either/or
Neospanner2026-01-26 16:24
There IS a divide, though. No one - and I mean NO ONE in the community - refers to individuals who buy BP and/or Welkin only as "dolphins".
While I haven't often seen them referred to as goldfish or minnows, a common term I've seen has been "light spender".
To qualify as a dolphin in Genshin you at the very least need to buy Genesis Crystal bundles from time to time.
One indicator is whether or not an individual gets excited about the top-off reset each year. Whales don't care about top-off reset - they'll spend regardless. It's barely a blip on their spending. Light spenders don't care about top-off reset - they won't buy the bundles anyway, discounted or not. What's left are what are commonly thought of as Dolphins in this community.
lanawellman2026-01-26 18:26
Are whales only those who c6r5 everyone? What about those who c6r1 several characters each version ? Cause most of them surely love double top up reset as well. Maybe they don't need them as much, but they surely aren't indifferent either.
mommysanalservant2026-01-27 04:50
Everyone has their own standard but generally mid spenders are considered dolphins. For me someone who buys every welkin moon, every battlepass and the occasional top up **or less** is a goldfish. Someone who buys all the double top ups most years is a dolphin. Someone who tops up to buy at least one c6 in a year is a whale, and people who c6 every or almost every character they pull is a leviathan.
Different people have different standards. To a f2p my definition of a dolphin probably sounds like a whale, but that amount of spending is probably just gonna get you a c1-2.
Constant_Refuse_57792026-01-26 10:07
Actually, the real answer is that the meta will just shift to Hexerei instead.

Side-eyes in F2P with Lauma, Nefer and Columbina, and Zibai (enough to guarantee her).
jisooed2026-01-26 11:01
im f2p w ineffa lauma flins nefer and columbina help
Iffem2026-01-26 11:06
... i mean, we only have two, i think

>Not sure many F2P and goldfishes have more than 1 lunar DPS anyway
I have all.
Key-Due2026-01-26 10:25
Eh thats why get only one luna dps. You don't need to get all 3.
MagnusBaechus2026-01-26 12:58
there are stages with JUST hydro enemies so you can use them there
Jaded-Philosophy37832026-01-26 15:26
gotta be columbina and aino
silverwing1012026-01-26 19:55
Columbina, aino, furina and kokomi/mona as special guests
Ikses2026-01-26 09:29
that's my prediction on march IT
den_sandra2026-01-26 11:00
We already know what march IT is going to be: electro, cryo, anemo. But Furina and Columbina are special guests.
ceos_ploi2026-01-26 09:30
I think every hydro IT that didn't have dendro had at least 1 dendro in the special guest slot, so Nilou could work
GradinaX2026-01-26 09:31
Columbina Special guest for that season ;)
Rare_Marionberry7822026-01-26 10:30
Too precious, Aino take it or leave it
theksjlife2026-01-26 09:35
pyro impact and vapourize shall prevail then
ErenIsNotADevil2026-01-26 10:24

>without Hydro
There was an impact alright
theksjlife2026-01-26 12:01
pyro impact and vapurwas reading the talupa comments when typing, brain lagged lmao
parthmestry2026-01-26 10:45
Vaporise?
mostpodernist2026-01-26 09:36
My kid has been using her Ineffa on a Varesa Overload team and it isn't actually as terrible as you'd think
thwrlsgenshin2026-01-26 09:46
that's because despite her strength Ineffa isn't a DPS.
C6 Lauma is an exception. >!I also heard that Zibai can still generate her special resource at slower rate and can do up to 60% damage without hydro.!<
Deshik22026-01-26 09:57
Have they ever put special conditions in stages like every enemy receives wet status every 5 seconds or anything like that?
TheLastTitan772026-01-26 09:57
Yeah it happens sometimes. Few months ago there was dendro without any pyro so kinich and Emilie were bad
Iffem2026-01-26 11:07
Emilie can still be functional without pyro, since she's a FANTASTIC Dendro applier
TheLastTitan772026-01-26 12:06
Yeah, that's true, she's still better than most stuff but loses a lot
Iffem2026-01-26 20:56
"better than most stuff" she's the second best off-field dendro applier, losing only to Nahida, and she beats out Nahida in multiwave content, lol
TumblrInGarbage2026-01-26 16:23
Lauma and Ineffa are also good at their respective applications and are therefore inherently good units for IT.
Though neither Lauma, nor Ineffa, nor Emilie are DPS units.
Iffem2026-01-26 20:58
that's true, hahaha
Low_Artist_76632026-01-26 10:03
So Varka and Nicole ITs?
Also "all Lunar dps"is just 3 characters
Iffem2026-01-26 11:07
3?
Nefer, Flins, and...?
Low_Artist_76632026-01-26 11:19
Zibai
Iffem2026-01-26 11:51
oh
wasn't counting her because she's not out yet, lol
IS_Mythix2026-01-26 11:20
Zibai?
Iffem2026-01-26 11:51
didn't count her because not out yet, lol
IS_Mythix2026-01-26 13:51
Well we have her entire kit so
SecyaDenali2026-01-26 10:26
When the dendro, cryo, electro IT came about my Ineffa popped tf off with blessings
Her kit literally has full uptime on electro application and EM buff. It was basically cracked out beidou
Also Bennett and Sucrose exists its extremely difficult to properly hard counter her.
Also in regards to DPS, Sara C6, Suc, Bineffa is actually good for 2 5 stars. Its better than Nuevillette C0 with Furina/Kaz
Crymsyn_Moon2026-01-26 10:34
The elemental restrictions have gimped characters before. Kinich or Emilie without pyro, Nilou without dendro, Skirk without hydro, etc. I don't think its a particularly big issue, unless you're struggling to make the character count.
Furicel2026-01-26 12:28
Yeah, I'd say Flins without Hydro still does more damage than my Cyno without dendro. The only difference is that Flins doesn't get to utilize a part of his kit, while Cyno still can use everything... He just doesn't have numbers.
Komiisimp2026-01-26 12:41
No point in comparing dmg with cyno lmao
Furicel2026-01-26 12:43
The point is that he still cleared, so I don't think Flins will get in too much trouble without hydro.
Spoopy_Kirei2026-01-26 18:01
At least he's good fodder for the first few fights
Organic-Army-90462026-01-26 19:09
he’s good fodder for when you’re saving your “Father” for later
Ads10132026-01-26 16:05
skirk melt isnt AWFUL, its functional enough to get by in IT. i used her with bennet shenhe and pyro traveler and it was decent enough.
now is it ideal? fuck no
maan-maan2026-01-26 16:40
Couldn’t you just use 4 cryo? I feel like I remember doing that
HorribleDat2026-01-26 18:29
Her 3 passives have different coverage, and they overlap on freeze team.
The void rift is non-melt cryo reactions (freeze, superconduct, swirl, crystallize)
The damage buff is either hydro/cryo characters. So 4 cryo chars can still work for this.
The +1 to ele skill is 'all hydro/cryo with at least 1 of each)
Ads10132026-01-27 00:34
1) id rather use my 4 cryo characters in separate encounters cus they may have more value across than together (also i didnt manage to get escoffier in rotation)
2) yea probably but i think melt SHOULD be better unless i did my dps test wrong
Worldly_Jicama_28932026-01-26 10:37
special guest , hydro aura enemies and tbh , in IT you can just apply element and it's easy clear since the buff is just massive
TheDrunkardKid2026-01-26 10:38
Eh, that still leaves Ineffa as a Fischl-sidegrade and Lauma as essentially a C2Nahida with better off-field application against quickly killed mobs.
EvilGodShura2026-01-26 11:01
Nothing new.
Due to the game being reaction based there are tons of bad matchups.
You can also just have bad luck and pull the wrong characters anyway and your run just ends.
John-Leonhart2026-01-26 11:02
IMO they should give you one flex choice every rotation (one character you can pick, regardless of restrictions). This isn’t me begging, I perfect clear without any trouble regardless, but it’d be good qol for folks who are heavily invested into niche characters.
Furicel2026-01-26 12:42
I mean, isn't playing characters outside of their niche the whole point of IT?
John-Leonhart2026-01-26 22:33
To an extent, but some characters are much better suited for that than others are.
False_Baby86282026-01-26 11:04
Counter point, put hydro Tulpa in it.
Meo_cute2026-01-26 11:25
The March Theatre is>!Electro, Cryo and Anemo. Columbina and Furina are guest stars to avoid bricking ~~Ineffa and~~ Flins.!<
TumblrInGarbage2026-01-26 16:24
Really just Flins. Ineffa is a strong character in IT regardless, due to her ability to apply shields and do similar off-field Electro damage to Fischl.
caucassius2026-01-26 11:34
even IT with hydro can still make lunarslop useless if you're 'unlucky' and don't get the right characters in the right moment
ditto with hexeslop
IT is just a wholly shit mode in a game like genshin
Furicel2026-01-26 12:41
IT is the most fun mode in the current Genshin, IMO.
Abyss and SO is all about optimization, you make three great teams, invest in them, make them more optimal, make the rotations better, do it faster. But it's just that, formulaic. Once you have 4-5~ good teams you don't even need to think, just choose 2-3 of them and play the same rotations you always do. It's fun, but it's stale.
IT, on the other hand, breaks your teams up. Even if your team has all the elemental requirements, you still may not get those characters. So you have to improvise, to change things up, to utilize characters you don't normally do, to utilize parts of their kits you don't normally do. It makes you play the characters in a way that doesn't bring out their "full potential" but offers a great challenge that's not just optimizing the teams you always use.
I've played Mualani electro-charged, I've played Clorinde Quickbloom, I've played Cyno Overload, I've played Hu Tao Burning... More often than not, I'm forced to cook my brain to make a team that still can pass the content with characters I neglect or run characters outside their niches... And I think that's a pretty healthy thing to do for a game.
caucassius2026-01-26 12:49
they're all shit now
IT is just random bullshit go. there's exactly zero planning involved besides retrying till you get all the pieces in slot or like other game modes, just brute force it with C and weapons for all your characters.
it runs counter to the entire elemental reaction system and the newly 'faction' system of genshin. it makes getting those characters together utterly meaningless in 1/3 of the endgame mode lmaooo
Furicel2026-01-26 13:04
>they're all shit now
Maybe you fell out of love with the game?
>IT is just random bullshit go. there's exactly zero planning involved besides retrying till you get all the pieces in slot or like other game modes, just brute force it with C and weapons for all your characters.
Sounds like you're bruteforcing the gamemode rather than engaging with it. I haven't had to retry an IT in months, and I don't have a single limited constellation or signature weapon. And again, that's not their premium teams, last IT I did the duck boss with Mualani, Raiden, Fischl and Kuki lol.
>it runs counter to the entire elemental reaction system and the newly 'faction' system of genshin. it makes getting those characters together utterly meaningless in 1/3 of the endgame mode lmaooo
But that's what makes it fun! You can use your premium team with the right reactions and right teammates and right faction on literally every other content in the game. IT is the one content where you get to play underused characters or play meta characters outside their niche.
I can use Skirk/Furina/Escoffier/Mona in ANY other content, it's what I use in abyss and what I use in SO and to do weeklies... But where else will I ever get to witness Skirk/Iansan/Bennett/Xiangling? It's not something I'd do voluntarily, but it's very engaging and funny when I notice they're my best shot at clearing this boss.
Aggressive_Yak70942026-01-26 12:41
Yeah. And what if the boss or enemy has some other aura. You basically cannt trigger some reactions like bloom.
kunsore2026-01-26 13:32
Lauma is still okay with Kinnich, but still think they gonna put Aino or Bina as special guest.
Brave19902026-01-26 13:34
They should allow traveller in every IT irrespective of element so that you can use hydro traveller in this kind of situation
SCRIPtRaven2026-01-26 13:49
I'm so behind on Genshin, what is an IT
T-280_SCV2026-01-26 14:00
Imaginarium Theatre, another endgame mode that Hoyo added. Its refreshes alternate with Spiral Abyss.
One_Conflict46072026-01-26 14:19
This is where fontaine units shines hesvily againts newer unit, units like neuv and arlecchino are extremely selfish and independent unit that can deal massive damage without full team, because how they both have inherently high mv multiplier at base, even something like mavuika still needs nightsoul unit to generate energy despite of her also high mv multipler (very dependent on team) where in IT you CANNOt choose your teammate freely (fully randomized)
avarageusername2026-01-26 14:22
I've been already saying that IT is very contradictory to the genshins character design and combat mechanics.
You have so many characters depend on a specific reaction or specific other characters and the design of being limited to just 3 elements and random characters goes completely against that.
You have skirk that becomes unplayable without specific elements and much weaker if you dont have freeze in particular. You have mavuika that loses majority od her power without natlan characters to charge up her burst. Kinich that needs burning. Chevy that needs overload. Nilou that needs bloom.
Meanwhile characters without special restrictions like Arle, Neuvi, Varesa etc. thrive very much and can basically solo carry the stage.
alexcercia2026-01-26 16:31
Exactly, thats why i've been saying lunar teams are not better and there's no powercreep, better teams dont mean "better main dps", and that applies for most of natlan dps too, since natlan we have seen more sinergized teams, wich is good and bad, now we have stronger TEAMS, but that also makes it more "p2w", now you've been forced to pull specific characters to assemble the whole team, and if you lack 2 of them the dmg falls very hard, just like mavuika or skirk, their premium teams are op af but if you dont have 1 or 2 key supports the difference between best and 2nd best team is HUGE, lunar teams are even worse, is not just about having bis supports, is playing an specific reaction, flins and nefer are basically useless without hydro, not just low dmg, useless. Theres no overload, no quicken. That makes them niche dps, just like nilou 3 years ago, she was goat in bloom teams but she has no use outside bloom and that made her obsolete in a short time, sneznaya will make us forget about lunar dmg since we will probably see new mechanics and being forced to use probably cryo. Meta is temporary, for me neuvi, arle, chasca and varesa are the best dps in their own element for their raw dmg and flexibility, they can perform outstanding in any comp and are not locked behind specific supports or teams.
Kevtastrophe2026-01-26 16:34
I can imagine they would put hydro bosses maybe?
Cocoatrice2026-01-26 16:59
No, it won't. Lauma and Ineffa are good DPS/Sub-DPS on their own. Lauma can be great in burning.
Rush1662026-01-26 17:23
The buffs we get in IT are powerful enough to offset the drawbacks.
Hoyo can add a specific elemental reaction like Cryo/Dendro.
The key is to combine the right elements.
Adham11532026-01-26 18:13
this is why i genuinely don't like it, because of how restrictive a lot of character kits are
something like that doesn't work with genshin's combat system, character kits are built around other characters/elements
even their weapons and builds, and ER requirements generally depend on your team
esmelusina2026-01-26 18:44
Lunar bosses won’t show up without hydro in the lineup.
Otherwise, Aino and Columbina are gonna be regulars on the special guest lineup.
Panty-Sniffer-122026-01-26 19:20
There would be a hydro infused enemy or a special invitation
OmniOnly2026-01-26 19:21
They will add it to special invite, same as they added electro to this one.
TeamRocketLeader2026-01-26 19:37
What do you mean by IT?
PedroLippi2026-01-27 11:16
Imaginarium Theater
acart0052026-01-26 19:48
I feel like Flins would be fine, albeit a bit gimped.
Maybe Liyue's Umamusume will solve the problem.
Student-Brief2026-01-26 20:48
Surely they wouldn't put Lunar shill without Hydro, right?
...right...?

I think it'll be fine. Plenty of ITs kneecaps characters - ex. Escoffier and Skirk suffer without Hydro, Kinich and Emilie suffer without Pyro, Chasca suffers if one of the other elements is Geo or Dendro, etc.
That said, that doesn't typically make characters completely useless. I actually think that some of the Nod-Krai characters are still pretty good without Hydro. The two standouts to me are Lauma and Ineffa; they both have really good elemental application and 100% uptime.

Yeah, for a month. Who cares
Slight-Adeptness22392026-01-27 04:25
They will most likely put Columbina and/or Aino as special guests and maybe enemies with permanent hydro aura
Legendary75592026-01-27 05:52
Thats why special guests exist lol . March theatre has columbina and furina as special guests

maybe add Hydro Tulpa as a boss. its been a while since last time
you can handle stuff without having what youd call a good team
i have used Skirk with Raiden or Thoma before, for example
Flins specifically? ya i might save him for the hydro enemies specifically
that doesnt take much effort
we got two others by now
Reaction cards are almost always include a path for doing damage when you proc a reaction (they even added a specific IT reactions like Cryo + Dendro for this) so you often can clear alot of non-boss stages with throwaway character and save cool and strong characters for boss and taro card stages.
Only strong limitation of IT clears - having enough lvl70 characters. That's it.
it will return
But yeah, you're not wrong.
Not sure many F2P and goldfishes have more than 1 lunar DPS anyway
EDIT: This is in contrast to those referred to as a “whale,” who spends way more than the $5 to $10 every patch to try and get as many constellations from the current banner as possible, for example.
Whales C6R5 most everything. Dolphins probably stick to a few teams, maybe not as much weapon investment.
Where one divides the line between sea mammals varies, but if you're introducing a fish, don't remove that animals already there.
Different people have different standards. To a f2p my definition of a dolphin probably sounds like a whale, but that amount of spending is probably just gonna get you a c1-2.
I have all.
>without Hydro
There was an impact alright
If Nuevs strength is a dps he gets mogged
Though neither Lauma, nor Ineffa, nor Emilie are DPS units.
Also "all Lunar dps"is just 3 characters
Nefer, Flins, and...?
wasn't counting her because she's not out yet, lol
Her kit literally has full uptime on electro application and EM buff. It was basically cracked out beidou
Also Bennett and Sucrose exists its extremely difficult to properly hard counter her.
Also in regards to DPS, Sara C6, Suc, Bineffa is actually good for 2 5 stars. Its better than Nuevillette C0 with Furina/Kaz
now is it ideal? fuck no
The void rift is non-melt cryo reactions (freeze, superconduct, swirl, crystallize)
The damage buff is either hydro/cryo characters. So 4 cryo chars can still work for this.
The +1 to ele skill is 'all hydro/cryo with at least 1 of each)
2) yea probably but i think melt SHOULD be better unless i did my dps test wrong
Due to the game being reaction based there are tons of bad matchups.
You can also just have bad luck and pull the wrong characters anyway and your run just ends.
ditto with hexeslop
IT is just a wholly shit mode in a game like genshin
Hoyo can add a specific elemental reaction like Cryo/Dendro.
The key is to combine the right elements.
something like that doesn't work with genshin's combat system, character kits are built around other characters/elements
even their weapons and builds, and ER requirements generally depend on your team
Otherwise, Aino and Columbina are gonna be regulars on the special guest lineup.
Maybe Liyue's Umamusume will solve the problem.
...right...?
That said, that doesn't typically make characters completely useless. I actually think that some of the Nod-Krai characters are still pretty good without Hydro. The two standouts to me are Lauma and Ineffa; they both have really good elemental application and 100% uptime.
