Lyney might be decent, but he was never one of the super popular ones, and he's been power crept by Arlecchino > Mavuika.
Emile, Clorinde, and Wrio can also be dropped in that category.
Navia's about to be power crept hard by Zibai, so she might make the list.
Arlecchino's on the borderline of that, although I think she leans closer to the "too good" side, and Furina and Neuvilette are definitely out.

C1 makes it so her bubble big for longer, C2 lets her hydro shred enemies when skill and burst hits, c4 extends burst, c6 gives her burst cr and cd based on hp. Its really only C6 that turns her into mini neuv but c2 is kinda nice for furina support if no coffee

We got the characters from 1.x 2.x 3.x.
Even if they plan to add Escoffier, she's 5.x, not 4.x and I doubt they'll add more than just 1 cycle a year.

However I can see getting a couple of repeats from this one, otherwise it might look extremely barren this time - considering that right now, outside of the standard characters, we have all limited from 1.X, 2.X and 3.X outside of archons and a couple of popular limited characters.

But from (the only) precedent, every major patch has only 1 unit (besides the Archons) not available. Version 1.0 to 1.8 was Kazuha, 2 was Yelan and 3 was Alhaitham.
They could break the cycle and not release any of the good constellations, but the system will just eventually die off when there's no more decent constellation to work for.
My guess is Furina and New Valet, maybe Arlecchino too if they count the first 2 both as Archons.

So it will mainly feature Sigewinne, Wrio, Clorinde, Emilie, Lyney, and Navia. Navia C1 is meh. Emilie's c1 is nice but lacks any of Escoffier or Citlali's benefits of res shred before c2. Given the powercreep, t wouldn't be too far fetched to see clorinde and Wrio on selector.
