New to the game

I started playing Genshin a couple days ago and I was wondering for who should I pull or wait for if I want to make a team with Mizuki as the main dps or healer, this are the characters I currently have.

right now I suggest building Xiangling • Xingqiu • Sucrose • Barbara as your main team for now.

* **Play at your own pace.** The early game is about exploring, doing quests, and learning elements—there’s no rush to “endgame.”
* **Use the characters you like.** Early content is easy enough that favorites matter more than meta.
* **Don’t stress about wishing.** Save Primogems, avoid spending on every banner, and don’t worry about 5★ characters early on.
* **Level a small core team.** Pick 3–4 characters and focus on them instead of spreading resources too thin.
* **Learn elemental reactions.** Even basic combos (like Pyro + Hydro or Electro + Hydro) make combat much smoother.
* **Artifacts don’t matter early.** Just equip what you find; real artifact farming comes much later around AR 45
* **Explore everything.** Chests, puzzles, and world quests are the best source of rewards early on.

To note the upcoming Lantern Rite is coming soon, and it’s one of the best events for F2P players. you'll be able to get a free 4-star character from it.

Edit: just realized you dont have Xingqiu so in that case it would be Xiangling • Kaeya • Sucrose • Barbara for the time being.

thanks for the tips I will focus on building the 4 characters you suggested, about the lantern rite event if Xingqiu is an option on the event should I get him or is better to get a constellation for someone I already have?

as for exploring I'm currently collecting all the ameno and geo thingy's for the statues, after that I might try to find all of the chest on **Mondstadt**

for lantern rite I suggest the following:

* **Priority I: The "Must-Haves"**
* **Xingqiu (Hydro):** Remains the gold standard for off-field Hydro application, damage reduction, and healing, vital for Vaporize, Bloom, and Electro-Charged teams.
* **Xiangling (Pyro):** An essential, high-damage off-field character. - you already have her so you dont need to get her unless you want her constellations.
* **Gaming (Pyro):** A top-tier 4-star main DPS focusing on plunge attacks, making him excellent for high-damage teams.
* **Priority II: Utility Characters**
* **Lan Yan (Anemo):** A new, versatile character providing a unique shield that adapts to swirled elements and buffs Elemental Mastery.
* **Yaoyao (Dendro):** A premier 4-star Dendro healer, perfect for Dendro-related teams like Spread or Hyperbloom.

I say to get Xingqui as he is a viable option in many team comps.

Mizuki is good with Off-Fielders, like Xiangling, Fischl, Ororon, Furina etc.. She is not a very good unit in any role, but i assume you like her very much and you want to make her viable so you can use her.

I would go for Mavuika and Furina since they can both provide good sub-dps numbers and Mavuika can even take over as a main DPS unit. A team like Mavuika, Furina, Ororon/Fischl or Xiangling and Mizuki can be pretty good. They call it "wheelchairing" or whatever, but it is still very usable outside of hardest endgame floors.

All in all, make sure to have fun, frankly in the overworld where most of your time is going to be in anything is usable with the right direction

yeah I lover her design and I'm a huge fan of her Korean va, noted I will save and try to get Mavuika, Furina and Ororon, I will also add Fischl to the list to build her, thanks for the tips/recommendations \^w\^
