All my teams besides my Flins team seem to not reach 100K even my C2 Kinich, please tell me that’s just how the DPS dummy measures dmg and not a 100% accurate depiction of Dmg

Yeah it also feels for me like something's off...do I have a skill issue or what x.x
maxwellreformed2026-01-26 18:05
If its set to natural resistance lvl90 it should be accurate
maingreninja2026-01-26 18:06
Yesterday i was practicing combos with skirk here, all same exept with shenhe instead of xq and ayaka sig weapon, i reached 120k in my best attempts. Maybe its because you are using sygian onslaught config?
HallyMiao2026-01-26 18:07
It is probably more accurate than external tools, as it takes account of execution and not based on theoretical perfect play that most players cannot do (consistently).
HaxD32026-01-26 18:07
I've played around with the dummy a ton and watched a lot of content around it. Never seen any problems with its accuracy.
Vegetto_ssj2026-01-26 18:40
What are the "standard" settings?
Enemy, enemy's level, minutes, C.Rate 100% or no, Abyss/SO, full ER or no, ecc...
nlopnlipa2026-01-26 18:45
The standard is just.. the standard. It's what you get when you load in and change nothing. Which would mean lvl 100, 10% resistances. And ofc no stats changed.
Vegetto_ssj2026-01-26 18:54
For the minutes? Last time I did 60sec. Was 90sec better?
nlopnlipa2026-01-26 18:58
For stygian presets I'd do 120s to be more precise but in general you just do rotations until you're back at your starting point.
So if you use 2 characters' burst every rotation and the 2 other characters' burst every second rotation that means you'll just repeat yourself after every second rotation. Logic dictates that 2 rotations are therefore enough to predict your DPS for future rotations.
But because the first rotation is usually weaker you can do 4 full rotations (in this example scenario).
Vegetto_ssj2026-01-26 19:01
Oke thanks. Maybe 3 rotations is the best midway
nlopnlipa2026-01-26 19:02
Only if you start at the same point after 1 rotation as at the start. Otherwise you inflate your DPS numbers.
(Unless you're specifically testing 3 rotations because you know you can clear "something" in exactly 3 rotations)
Vegetto_ssj2026-01-26 19:05
Thank for the advice.
Landfall246012026-01-26 18:14
Your dps sucks. It's not just you though, most people don't play well.
Me included btw, my Skirk doesn't get to 100k and I have all of her premium team, which includes C2 Furina.
Vakhoris2026-01-26 18:47
I also use her with Furina C2R0 Esco c0r0 Yelan C1R1.
Skirk is C0R1 and I can get up to 160k dps. I'm not sure how much dps Yelan contributes though.
Landfall246012026-01-26 19:27
I went to look for a quick video on Skirk to see how I was supposed to use her (I took a very long break shortly after getting her so I had forgotten).
With Furina c2, Escoffier, Shenhe and Skirk C0R1 I'm doing 114k dps. She is only 1/6/5 though, so I think I can expect her to do a bit more. When I tried it yesterday I was doing 90k lol.
RealSmoothBrain08152026-01-26 18:15
you should try a better buffing 4th slot
like mona or yelan those are usually better for teamdps over xq
babangelsin2026-01-26 18:20
Absolutely a build or rotation issue on that Skirk team.
Should also be a similar issue with your Kinich team, plus potentially a teambuilding issue as well.
Titanium702026-01-26 18:22
Testing is usually done against Level 100 - Full Energy.
As that's what Calcs are based on as well. \^\^
nlopnlipa2026-01-26 18:48
>Testing is usually done against Level 100 - Full Energy.
I don't think that's true. Why would you ever go Full Energy? That's just not the DPS your team has then if you artificially buffed it.
Titanium702026-01-26 18:51
Because that's what Calcs assume as well, so that is what you compare.
nlopnlipa2026-01-26 18:52
Ik that's what calcs assume but that doesn't really translate into testing. Most tests I've seen don't artificially inflate stats since you want to measure your own DPS and not the DPS you'd have with better stats.
And most TCs also only do that because most calcs are done before release and it's hard to tell how much ER is needed exactly (besides weapon and sands)
Titanium702026-01-26 19:15
The relevant stat you care for and compare is DMG/Rotation.
If you do an SO test, you don't get that stat.
You get a warped one including a halve-rotation.
Also it locks you into a 120s run which most people would not want to do as it takes long and is prone to mistakes.
That's why the common standard is 2-4 rotations full Energy.
nlopnlipa2026-01-26 19:21
>The relevant stat you care for and compare is DMG/Rotation.
That stat is useless unless you get all needed bursts back after one rotation, otherwise you need 2 rotations at least.
racistpenguin2026-01-26 20:42
I think you misunderstood what "full energy" means - it means you **start** the challenge with full energy on all your characters (like Spiral Abyss), not that you **always** have full energy. You still need to have enough ER on your characters to have bursts up for the second rotation onwards.
On the other hand, "no energy" means you start with 0 energy (like Stygian) and need to build it up before you can use bursts for the first time.
People calculate based on "full energy" because that is what all the game's content was before Stygian was a thing.
Quick-Maybe-56012026-01-26 18:22
seems like a building issue or a skill issue. hard to say with so little information.
racistpenguin2026-01-26 18:23
You have set the preset to Stygian Fearless (target enemy level 105), so it is expected to have a bit less DPS since:
1. the enemy level is higher = has more defense = you do less damage = less DPS
2. your first rotation will always be scuffed since you start without energy. As you do more and more rotations, it should slowly get raised towards your Spiral Abyss-level DPS. Though you only have up to 2 minutes in Stygian to defeat your enemy (less when you have to wait for enemy animations or deal with mechanics), so you should expect to not reach the same level of DPS as in the Spiral Abyss case.
The level measures DPS correctly. For more consistent results - use the Spiral Abyss preset, unless you're specifically looking for the Stygian performance of your team.
Violet_Villian2026-01-26 18:37
Thank you very much for clarifying that for me(instead of just dogging me) I thought SO rules were the new DPS standard, i’ll have to try that instead when I get home
Rodrigorgm2026-01-26 18:23
I have to say that the fact that people here think the problem lies with the dummy and not with their own lack of skill and build is concerning.
Darcula042026-01-26 18:27
Nobody wants to feel like the units they pulled based on sheets don't reach said sheet dps lol
impjustme2026-01-26 19:32
they don't because sheet dps is based on perfect executions, while most genshin players can't even read let alone play the game good. Also some characters get way more dmg from artifact investment than others.
Warcrimes022026-01-26 18:37
Calcs are assuming you have an optimal team, artifacts, and rotations. The last one is a big kicker because most people cannot in fact do perfect rotations which is why these dps dummies are more accurate on a per person basis
nlopnlipa2026-01-26 18:49
Most calcs are based on the KQM standard which uses very subpar artifacts. Your point about rotations is true though.
Neospartan_1172026-01-26 18:43
I replicated this team, and I managed to get 96k DPS. My Skirk is C0 using the Nod Krai gacha 4 Star sword that's better for Burst DPS Skirk than Main DPS Skirk, my Furina is C0 using Festering Desire R5, my Escoffier is C0 using Symphonist of Scents R1, my Xingqiu is C6 using Sac Sword R5.
I'd say your supports are under-built, and there might be room for improvement in your rotation (I don't know what you did, but I did Furina EQ, Escoffier EQ, Xingqiu EQE, Skirk E N5 Q then I alternated between N5 D and N4 CA, which still has room for improvement).
Also, I usually use Calamity of Eshu R5 on my Skirk when going main DPS Skirk, and Dahlia instead of Xingqiu, and I do reach 110k damage then.
FreeEstablishment8982026-01-26 19:00
Well i have a question, I see that the time elapsed it 120 seconds, so im wondering do you keep going till you hit the number or do you go with 1 rotation and end the time to test? Im still learning how to use the dps dummy for my teams
racistpenguin2026-01-26 20:52
The usual way of testing DPS is on full rotations - so you stop the timer at the same point where you would re-start your rotation loop (ex. if you start with Furina E - you end the test right before you would have used Furina E again).
Usually you will get the best result after doing a couple of rotations - note that if your rotations aren't always the same (ex. if you have some bursts that you only do every second rotation) - then you would need to do an even amount of rotations to get your average DPS.
FreeEstablishment8982026-01-26 20:55
Ah ok that makes sense
Frost_Niflheim2026-01-26 19:10
Show your builds, then we can talk. Mine deals more than 100k on that same team
zriL-2026-01-26 20:00
The dummy should be right, TCs are the ones that are misrepresenting what you should expect. It's always been the case since TCs existed in this community. I hope, now that it's as clear as day, people will stop taking what they say as absolute meta truth.

In 109 seconds my team did:
* Skirk: 3,939,733 (39%)
* Furina: 2,801,685 (27%)
