Bad characters with good constellations?
Usually constellations are a way to make a good character even better, especially supports like Furina and Xilonen. But I got curious if there's any character which it's base kit is lacking but that got a huge spike by getting cons. I thought maybe some of the early 5 starts but usually their cons where pretty bad.
Do you guys known any character that fits this criteria. It can be any constellation as long as it gives a big spike or change in their gameplay

I legitimately haven't heard someone say C6 Childe as answer to this question since the 1.x days where people mistook Qiqi as a strong character due to her being a healer. I actually think Childe has one of the worst limited C6s in modern day, due to how it takes his already outdated damage profile and adds *nothing* to it for endgame content.
I wouldnt say Nilou is bad but with her C2 she is good support to Nefer rn.
Otherwise most 4-Star characters nowadays get a serious spike from constellations.
Dehya at C6 is also pretty good once you finally get her to C6, as she's finally able to deal proper damage and also fulfill her role as a weird sustainer (i think).
I wouldn't call her that bad at C0, but C2+ Chasca glows up really nicely. I'd say at C2 she's about A-tier (more than enough for abyss, theater, and fearless) as long as you have supports/elements that work for the shill. Her early cons make her teams more flexible and C2 gives her some needed AoE. At C6 she's so good that she's used by whale speedrunners.
No regrets though as he's the first and currently only limited character I pulled an additional constellation for.
If they just increase damage through buffs? Fine imo, but if they do it because they give a character some QoL that makes them MUCH better without adjusting actual numbers, etc., yeah that's kinda bad.
Hu Tao is a good example (even if she's my fav character), because C0 and C1 Hu Tao is night-and-day in regards to overall DPS and safety.
The other person unwielded C6 Sigewinne, and proceeded to kill the boss single-handedly due to having ticks of 90k damage while only having one other support. I left the fight incredibly shocked and gagged
Chiori is never a bad character but her c6 turns her into a beast of an on-field DPS.
She goes from being strictly worse than Fischl in every regard, besides her ability to be a driver due to holding a catalyst I guess, to having solid use cases.
It's still quite an outdated character imo, and as an owner of C6 Yae Miko, she hasn't necessarily stomped content in Stygian Onslaught. But she *has* contributed to Dire clears for me for a couple of patches.
For how much a C6 is worth, it's still not the most impactful change. Modern limited C6s generally guarantee a sub 60 seconds chamber clear in shilled content, or are able to bruteforce regardless of the boss mechanics. But I think this is definitely an example of a bad character turning good.
She starts off worse than a free 4*, then due to the ceiling of constellations improving such a role, becomes fairly useful. I've mostly used her as an off-field DPS, but I've seen the Miko subreddit successfully relegate her to main DPS in Stygian Onslaught chambers where having Electro is necessary. And recently, Electro seems to be one of the most necessary elements.
