I can see it, I suppose. The scene where Varka approached Nichole to officially call in on the Hexenzirkel's offer to protect Mondstadt does come across as a bit flirty, the way that Nichole teases the formal request out of him. And you have the whole "opposites attract" thing with her being an intellectual chatterbox and him being a headstrong man-of-action.
It's not my cup of tea, but I've seen ships sail on much more treacherous tides than these.
