So in all honesty, would everyone agree that the best constelation to get in Nefer's BiS team is Lauma C1?
Context for those that dont know, this is Nefer's BiS team, but the problem is that this team is a sustain-less team with no healing, and what I hear people complain the most about Nefer is that she has no healing and dies really easily. And what Lauma's C1 does is... well, heal. Not sure just how strong it is, but I've head people say that it is more than enough sustain for Nilou teams... which does say quite a lot.
So my point is that Lauma's C1, while not being a dmg increase, it does fix Nefer's biggest issue, and seeing how people are saying that Nefer is the strongest DPS in the game atm with 'Bina's release, wouldn't it be even better then to get Lauma's C1?
And then you could also might as well consider her C2 since that just outright dubble's Lauma's buff from her burst (at lvl 10, if bellow then more than double), while also giving 40% lunar bloom dmg, not sure what the exact dmg increase is, but that sounds like a strong C2 if you already have her C1 for the healing.
Also, while Columbina's C2 is INSANE for Nefer, but her C1... not so much. And Nahida, well, her C1 is completely dead in Lunar bloom, and her C2 in Lunar bloom is just Lauma A1 passive, so I dont see Nahida cons being worth it specificely in Nefer teams.
Note: Not sure how strong the "Elevation" effect is, the buff lunar-bloom gets being interruption resistance, to the character who loves to dash cancel none the less, is just dumb.
So do people agree that Lauma's C1 is the best constelation to go for first in Nefer teams, or do you guys thin otherwise? I would like to hear your reasoning if you think a different constelation is better than Lauma's C1. I am considering getting Lauma's C1 while keeping my Nefer C0R1, so it would also be nice to get some insight if people think I am in the wrong.

Yes you get QOL but ive never had a problem with her vunerability honestly Lauma for me has been by far the most squishiest on the team since she so standstill after her burst and whenever shes on field.
If you are going for Lauma's C2 anyway, then her C1 is a nice bonus. Neither is required unless you are trying to clear Dire though. The best one cost investment hands down is Nefer's R1.
I've never seen a character needing healing more.
She's a super squishy attack scaling catalyst whose charged attacks lock in her in place in melee range.
If you're only going to invest in one constellation, then C1 Nefer, C0 Lauma, and Kuki have sustain and more damage than C0 Nefer, C1 Lauma, and C0 Nahida.
you have time to get all the useful cons in the long run, get them all
If it was something related to dmg i wouldn't care, but turning the character into a healer is just too good to let it pass
So its more like Lauma C1->Lauma C2->Nefer C1 to C6->Lauma C3 to C6, unless you're absolutely confident you'll reach Lauma C6.
she has issue with her Hp not going to 0 if enemy decided to atack in the middle of her dash
Edit: why the downvotes wen nahida obviously gives more em
Sucrose on instructor gives (I believe) 320 EM party wide that also buff Lauma and Columbina. She takes almost no field time and with the extra Dew from Columbina, you can do Nefer's entire rotation during the buff.
Not to mention, it also lowers the er reqs of lauma/nefer so overall its still better to run
this doesn't even factor in that ur not really running instructor on nahida in the first place, its moreso lauma running sms (better overall), nadhida running dw, bina likely running the new set (not sure on this one atm), and nefer running the dps set, so still an increase to stuff.
Otherwise, wat set is sucrose even running here? U need constant app for any set that would realistically be worth running, vv? Nothing to swirl, instructor? Hard to swirl the hydro to get anything from instructor (far lower em peak for instructor), \~420 plus and be generous and say 3 rolls of 2nd max em subs on feather/flower, so we r looking at abt 565 or so em pre weapon, if we assume sac, thats abt 865 but this is incredibly unlikely to really reach this without massive farming, so ur not even getting full sucrose buff. Even with sms, sucrose isn't reaching her cap.
Nahida doesn't work very well with Instructor Set. Her skill lasts 25 seconds, while the team rotation is about 18 seconds. This means that after the first rotation, the enemy will always have her skill mark. If you apply hydro with Columbina, it will activate Nahida's skill, applying 1.5U dendro, which will likely clear all the hydro that Columbina left behind, thus preventing Nahida from reacting and activating the Instructor set effect. This doesn't even consider Lauma's dendro application. So Nahida with Instructor is very difficult to make work. Usually we put Deepwood/SMS on Nahida, SMS/Deepwood on Columbina, 2/2 EM on Lauma.
So if you remove Nahida from the team, you will lose 250 EM on field from her burst.
If you add Sucrose in her place, with Deepwood, she will buff 220 EM (with standard KQMS artifacts) to the entire team, not just the character on the field like Nahida does. This is less than Nahida, but it affects Lauma as well, meaning Lauma's burst quills will go from +5520 additional damage to +6399, a 16% increase that more than makes up for the difference. All of this is more damage for Nefer and Columbina as well, as she also consumes Lauma's quills when she deals damage.
Now considering Instructor on Sucrose. She also has difficulty activating the set, but it's much easier when Nahida's 1.5U dendro isn't immediately removing the hydro applied. In that case, there's only Lauma's skill to worry about. As for buffs, what happens is that you are forced to switch from 2/2 EM on Lauma to Deepwood, thus losing 160 EM on her. However, the instructor alone will recover 120 EM of that. And now Sucrose has less EM in the build because she uses a 4\* set, but with a 5\* off piece EM main stat, it's not that much less. Her EM buff drops from 220 to 210 (again using KQMS stats), but that's before the Instructor set effect. With the Instructor active, Sucrose herself takes advantage of those 120 EM and buff even more EM, going to 234 EM share. In other words, Sucrose now buffs 234 + 120 EM = 354 EM for the entire team, again increasing not only Nefer's damage but also Columbina's.
u have 60% shred ( shred under 0 is halved so normally non resisted enemies have 20 % u remove that and ur other 40 gets HALVED to 20 )
Then are we now gonna say vv on charas are useless bc shred is "bad" wen its under 0? Then guess we should stop building charas like sucrose or kazu with it. Or how one of neuv's better teams prior to nk being kazu/xilo. Are we saying it was always a shit team or something? Bc thats literally wat ur implying by how ur saying it
while having healing AND not needing to cast a 3 seconds cinematic ult /// those 3 seconds mean so much in stygian... and especially dire
I have been fighting Baptist last SO hundreds of times (more with Sucrose over Nahida), and I died about 5-10 times max total (on all units combined). Once you learn the movements of the enemy, you generally don't get hit (I am a mobile player if it matters). I understand C1 Lauma's value in the overworld, but in SO you would rather pick DPS upgrade over QoL.
I am a C0R0 player, and quite frankly, I love Prototype Amber on Bina in my Nefer teams. Fav is an overkill, especially when Nahida is on the team and can hold it.
AFAIK, Nefer cons got weaker with Bina's release, and now you do really want C2 Lauma for the highest ROI. I am saving for Nefer's R1, since I finally managed to get a build with CD circlet and I am only lacking the 8% CR to never miss a crit, which her R1 conviniently provides.
Wouldn't recommend to more casual players and, as someone already mentioned, there are safer middle ground alternatives, like slapping Kuki in or giving Nahida or Lauma the craftable weapon that heals on ULT.
I don't think we will ever see a dedicated sustain support for this team because a: Lauma C1 exist and b: Ineffa exist. (My Ineffa was busy in my C0 Films team.)
C1 Lauma Is still tempting for me because I don't have Baizhu and the same constellation makes exploration with her charged attack deer state more enjoyable, but I'll give in only if I'm sure nothing more interesting is coming.
