I feel like Nefer is the worse

Out of any Lunar dps character, she doesn't work with hydro 4 stars like xinqui or yelan, while flins only need Ineffa and works with any hydro applicator. And nefer doesn't have sustain option too.

I have both flins/ineffa and nefer/lauma in separate account, and no columbina(because poor) in both account. For flins team columbina is only needed if you care about meta and high numbers otherwise ineffa is enough.

But for Nefer team, aino circle impact is very bad, and XQ rainsword does not works because she charged attacker, so the only hydro option outside of columbina is barbara.

.... Last 3 abyss cycles and the ones I 36 starred I used Barbara and Xingqiu on instructor. Worked out fine since my Aino and Ineffa are inseperable on the other team.

Lowkey i tried Diona Sac bow with Barbara that sht was a joke you hardly get hit at all.

i've played nefer with kokomi and it works well as she can have full uptime (if you use kokomi burst), and sustain. also xingqiu/yelan followup damage also applies w/normal attacks

She doesn't lock in place while she is attacking. You can still dodge right after charged attack and her shadows still do damage when the dodge animation is in action. This is also faster than just holding attack button.

Sure, I get the criticism and feel it’s largely fair…

However - Kokomi, I know she’s 5 star but she’s old and a lot of long term players will have her. She has her own limitations, but as a hydro sustain with less circle impact issues than Aino, she’s actually pretty great. I have been using Nef/Lauma/Nahida/Koko for months, all C0, all with sig wep other than Koko. I’m dealing 130/130/150k with Nefer all the time.

Things are gradually changing though. I picked up Bina and will continue pursuing Ineffa for the new wheelchair core. But I have a vision of Nef/C1 Lauma/Bina/C2 Nahida eventually, and I know it’s gonna slap

Some players use nilou for consistent hydro application. But you have to sacrifice nilou's bloom damage since if she's paired with nefer there's a high chance that the bloom reactions that will be produce are nefers bloom of deciet rather than nilou's bountiful cores

Nilou can work pretty well there because of her high HP, so she can give very high Ascendant Gleam bonus (it needs 60 000 HP for full bonus).

I tried the Sucrose tech with the durin machine boss on pyro swirls then i saw a video with Nefer, lauma, Aino Amber and im like wait wtf.

She legit cut the his resistance in half through her burst already putting the shield at 50% and didnt even need to break more of the shield

Amber is a crazy strong buffer too at C6 + Noblesse + Elegy she does like i forgot the exact number but 20% + 15% + ??%? Its a lot

Nefer works fine with xingqiu. Yes you do have to hug the enemy but it works.

The rain sword orbital of xingqiu's skill applies enough hydro for nefer teams. The burst just becomes another way of refreshing the orbiting swords.

XQ was the most commonly picked hydro for nefer teams against the stygian version of baptist amongst the livestreamers I watched.
