I didn't even have to try and figure it out tbh. Blast every single piece and Paimon will fix the ones you're not supposed to break, you end up solving it in the same or less amount of time as figuring it out.

I think the instructions for this were not so clear. They used the word "column" when they should have said row, or depth. I rmb cause I was trying to count the columns and it didn't make sense.

On the other side: there was only one dimension where the numbers make sense. You know that it has to be "depth" and not "rows" and "columns" simply by looking at the numbers.

And at the end: you could also stupidly just click on every single block and it was solved.

“The number represents the number of blocks in the depth” would confuse way more English speakers than using “row” to refer to something similar.

The word “column” may have been used because you can turn the whole thing over and read the number on the top, which does correspond with the columns. I specifically remember reading the word “row” in the tutorial too.

The word “column” was probably a reference to how you can turn the blocks on their side in order to read the numbers on the top, which DO correspond with the columns.

Its not minesweeper concept, or at least not for me. Since minesweeper was the bombs near the boxes.

I think the numbers represented how many were left for that column (number on top) and how many in the row (the ones facing you).

I could be wrong though.

There is also a 2d version which I personally feel is superior. If you have a switch then they have a toooon of them called Picross S. and there are a few off brand 3D picross games as well. I’m sure the off brand ones are on steam as well, they just won’t be as polished as the Picross S games.

It took a while for me to get it while i usually loves this type of game, but in the end it's fun. What i hated tho isn't the game itself but the fact that we can't run, jump, and sometimes the top face isn't available to be seen because it's too high and we can't jump or grimp. The game is imo surrounded by poor design which makes it hard to love.

It a classic Genshin puzzle - simple puzzle with absolutely shit explanation. I had to bruteforce it, because if I play by MHY explanation it doesn't work.

I don't get why HSR has such clear and understandable puzzles (both easy and hard), which GI ones looks like a toddler toy but designed by a meth addict and explained using LSD.

This was a pretty confusing minigame at first. I got confused because I believe the instructions said something about the columns needed the same amount as the number on the block. But by columns they meant the back and forth ones not the up and down columns. After I got the hang of that it was pretty easy to do the rest.
