Every big gatcha game has one and genshin refuses to add one. It’s genuinely sad a multi billion dollar company can’t add such a simple feature I want to play the game so bad but it’s just so much useless dialogue.
This is why, even after five years, Genshin Impact remains one of the most popular games in the industry, while other so-called "big gacha games” have already lost their momentum within just a couple of years.

Not 100% defending them not having one (though even if it was there I would never use it), but some people are looking at it with the wrong frame of mind.
Instead of saying that they have all this money so why can't they add the feature (they clearly can) you need to look at it as they know they don't need to until it actually affects visible metrics. They have all of the data that shows the people who leave due to no skip button don't visibly affect anything enough for them to bother adding it.
It's also not as simple of a change as some people think (depending on what their backend looks like changes the complexity which is somethingbwe havw no way of knowing). I can't tell you how annoying it can be to add a new feature that was not planned in a large codebase that many different devs worked on. Even more time has to then be taken by (I assume they have one at least) a QA team to run checks on many different parts of the game which can take a while as well.
Tldr: Can they add it? Yes, with a good bit of work hours (it's not a come in and get it done over the weekend sort of thing). Will they add it? Probably not anytime soon if ever.
