I generally like having weapons, but not if it isn't a massive upgrade over a 4 star. I also wanna pull for Varka, so I'm not sure, bc I heard Columbina's weapon isn't that great.

In most cases, like you use Aino for hydro, Columbina is a good upgrade. But in a rare situation, for a old whale player who has C2 Nilou and C2 Nahida, C0 Columbina is not really an upgrade and could be even an downgrade.

Her weapon has the lowest priority in Nefer team, behind Nefer's weapon, Lauma's cons, Nefer's cons and Columbina's own cons.

Is Bina and Fischl a good duo?

Yesterday I pulled Bina (finally!!!) and I also have Fischl c2. I have both of them along with Jean and Sucrose in my team. Is it a good team? I started playing 2 weeks ago. Bina is the only Nod-Krai character I have so I can't make a proper lunar team until next banner.

Is it a good team? I also wanted to use Bina as DPS, but I saw Fischl makes A TON of damage. And last, I don't get why everybody suggests Sucrose. :)

It's alright, probably one of the best things you can do right now. sucrose gives grouping, a ton of EM and reduces resistances with VV artifact set, all things you want for this team

If you started 2 weeks ago it doesn't matter what you play. Proper team composition only matters at the end game.

But yes, for a proper team, Columbina needs lunar teammates: pick one of Flins/Ineffa, Nefer/Lauma or Zibai (perhaps Linnea).

but his c6 stacks with Gorou's, and his burst does increase nonlunar geo, just that lunar geo gets more

none of them, its already a good team and 2 of them benefit from Gorou's def increase, and also he heals somewhat
the benefit Illuga has is just longer duration on whatever gives the c6 but noone on the team needs that much field time

you need to get a c6 Illuga first anyway, and youd get Neuvillette or Zibai for it, likely more than one before you can c6 a 4 star

and best to not rely on regular crystalize shields for it

wont surpass the Durin team though cause that has more relevant subdps damage

If Gorou wasn't C6 you could maybe consider swapping him for Illuga giving similar buffs, so I guess you could still do that if you really just want Illuga and will accept a downgrade in DPS.

Swapping Albedo or Durin will break Hex resonance and be a pretty decent DPS downgrade.

Decidi fazer o mesmo com uma conta que usei no começo do jogo e que atualmente está 'fraca', e nas primeiras 10 rodadas eu consegui a Ineffa. Estou pensando em não jogar por semanas só para conseguir o Neuvillette em tom baixo. Pode ter sido só uma coincidência?

I started playing Genshin a little over two months ago and I'm saving up gems to get Neuvillette because he seems quite versatile.

But I would get, or try to get, Ineffa and later Flins, and then when Columbina comes out, get her too... However, I get the impression that they are much harder to Bildar, so I would just keep hoping for Neuvillette and then think about building a team around him.

So far I have Diluc, Sucrose, Kirara, and Noele as unique characters. Who do you think I should try to get?

Whoever you like more. Sucrose is nice for Lunar-Charged teams, but you have so few characters so far that you should just focus on going for a team you like first, and re-evaluating what you can do once you have a 5* you like to build the team around and which 4* you got on the way. The game gives you enough free pulls to get one whole team of 5* units, or maybe 2 pairs of DPS+BiS support for 2 teams. After that, you're back to the drip-feed that every other F2P deals with, maybe getting one limited 5* every 2 patches or so.

For a specidic answer, if you just want someone easy to play and don't worry too much about gunning for endgame or optimizing, then Neuvi is a fine one to go for. Yes, Flins and Ineffa are 'harder' to build teams for by comparison, but they perform better as a result, so if you DO care about endgame for some reason, Neuvi is getting to the point of noticeably lacking damage compared to newer carries.

Neuvillette is versatile, but his age (released 2 years ago) is starting to show. Flins & Ineffa generally just perform better, and they aren't actually harder to build. It's also quite easy to get Aino to round out their team alongside Sucrose who you already have.

However, Ineffa is on banner right now and Flins will be in a month. You may need to do quite a bit of grinding to get them both. You could pick up Ineffa now and run the above team with Diluc as a placeholder onfielder, then take a shot at Flins when he comes by. If you get him, great. If you don't, Diluc is still alright -- Ineffa will do a *lot* of heavy lifting.

I'd mostly forget about Columbina. She is a luxury pull to round out lunar teams. Just by herself, she's not a particularly good deal.

Of course, all of the above is about performance. If you just love the look and/or gameplay of these characters or are not really interested in (working towards) endgame, then you can forget most of this and just pull the waifu/husbando of your choice.

Differences (good or bad) before switching Skirk teams:

Current: CoE R5, MH set, and Dahlia C6
To: FotD R5, FotD set and Mona C4

Other teammates are Furina and Escoffier. Any input would be greatly appreciated. As F2P I’m pretty happy with my current team, but I’ve still been thinking of this switch for a while.

You can test dps in Miliastra game mode to see if change is significant. Generaly "recommended" is keeping MH and Finale.

If I’m at a puzzle and the chest detector says “no treasure detected”, does that mean the puzzle is solved?

I’m in Fontaine looking at one of the camera switching puzzles, where you have to change the lamp colors by switching from camera to camera. It is operational, but there’s no obvious goal and the chest detector says nothing. I might have done it years ago, but isn’t it odd that it’s operational?

Any compass outside of Nod-Krai doesn't detect spawned or hidden chests so that's no indicator. For some reason some puzzle mechanics stay active after solving them but usually they don't. I recommend googling subregion name + camera puzzle and check it out.

It's the reward for doing the Natlan quest, which only unlocks at AR 40. So you're not *that* far behind, and it's not like you just never touched the statue, unlike some people.

It is the 'best' element of Traveler though, so if you want to play them, going for it would be worth it. But ofc that means doing the story, which you do you on that.

You can't.There was the quickstart, but that's expired now.

You'll need to go through the other regions AQ's before you can do Natlan.

So when Durin was featuring i pulled for his weapon and lost to the standard banner. As an owner of Ineffa i tried to use my limited weapon guarantee to get her weapon, but lost to Columbina’s weapon. If i fail to get Ineffa’s weapon this banner, will my limited weapon guarantee still carry over, or did i lose it when i got Columbina’s weapon?

Agree with the other user then, serpent spine is an excellent generalist pick.

Wolf fang for the sword users is by no means bad, but not as big an upgrade as serpent spine over other claymore options, and there's very good sword options like finale of the deep.

Sac jade for Columbina is solid in a vacuum, but offset in part by having to run ER sands instead; would recommend just sticking with proto amber or fav.

i need help making a team! i have been playing since 2021 but stopped for a really long time and now im playing again and feel like my team is outdated and ive never really been good at the game/ building and using characters in general. right now my team is yoimiya, yumemizuki mizuki, skirk, and yae miko. i dont really have any newer characters but i am trying to pull for columbina. does anyone have any advice?

Some more info would be good. the 4 characters you put together dont work well together. for overworld everything goes usually so if you like them / want to have all of them on your team then feel free to do so. but if you feel too weak it might be smart to consider some synergies. here are some thoughts about that:

skirk really wants freeze, specifically with only hydro and cryo characters. i think that's stated in her passive, not sure though. so if you want to play her in a strong team that's what i would advice.

Yoimiya is onfield dps, so you want to par her with buffers and off-field damage dealers. characters like xingqui, bennett, xilonen, citlali come to mind.

if you get columbina fischl, yae, sucrose could be good i think.

yae you can play taser like in columbina team with a hydro, fischl and sucrose for example or in aggravate (for example yaoyao/dendroMC/nahida, sucrose, fischl).

all in all columbina teams (with or without yae) and skirk teams should be your stronger ones if that is what matters to you. but it is a game so you should play who you like to.

if you want more specific info you can tell me/us about your other characters and we might be able to give clearer advice.

I think bina's burst sound was nerfed. In the first days she was released, her burst did a hard bass surround sound.

But maybe it was patched and I can't ear it anymore. It feels like her burst is really silent now. I feel so sad of this change.

Any tips for the As It Should Have Been achievement? I've tried a few different set-ups, but not having any nuke characters like Mavuika's making it really tough.

I originally thought my Flins/Bineffa team would've been the way to go, but I guess the achievement only counts single attacks instead of Flins' 1-2 punch of a burst.

Honestly no meta teams I can think of use him outside of niche scenarios where you specifically need grouping like current Stygian (and even here there are some Sucrose techniques). Some people play him with Neuvillette hypercarry, but you need a lot of investment for this team to deal a lot of damage at this point

Like the other guy said, in terms of meta not really but Kazuha has been part of my overworld team since forever and overworld content is basically 95% of the game. Just depends on how fleshed out your current roster is and if you're willing/can afford to pull a unit just for that. He'll still slot in plenty of teams, he just won't be the absolute best choice for it.

If you are making 3 of the strongest teams with no overlap in characters, Kazuha would not make the list. However, I have used him for 4/6 of the Stygian Fearless clears so far. So he is somewhere in the middle of a useful generalist support that doesn’t have a home, but provides enough that he is still useful for my account.

Should I do the lantern event?
I started Genshin back in Late Feb last year so this would be my first lantern rite.
I just started NK AQ, literally not done with Act I. I want to pull for Zibai, so I don’t want to miss one bit of her story, but I’m afraid it’ll spoil me badly NK AQ.
I know the « story » part of the event will be available even later on, but the free 4* is enticing.
Do you guys think it’ll be like last year summer event, where it’s possible to do the event games and get the rewards without getting too spoiled about the AQ?

I highly doubt it will spoil anything related to Nod Krai, but, if you are worried, you can probably do like 10 minutes of the quest and then all minigames open. Atleast thats how big events in Genshin usually work

Wasn't Stygian supposed to be a better alternative for farming artifacts? I wasted 1,600 resin there and didn't get a single usable piece for Columbina, Ineffa, or Durin. But a single Domain run gave me two perfect feathers for Columbina and Ineffa. Doesn't Stygian have the same drop odds as the specific set's domain? Seriously how the hell 1600 resin dont give me anything good...

Plain old RNG. They share the exact same artifact generation, with the *one and only difference* that stygian pops out an extra piece every 120 resin.

Don't do regular artifact domains while stygian is open.

1200 resin is less than a week. You should not expect to have anywhere near a good set in less than a week.

It's really not that much. You should expect to spend quite a bit more than barely a week's resin for three characters' worth of high standard pieces.

Stygian gives more drops (+1 artifact per 120 resin), but that's all. The drops themselves are still subject to the same terrible odds as the regular artifact mines.

RNG be rng, just random chance that you got better pieces in your 2-3 domain drops than the 2.16-3.32 drops Stygian would've given for that resin.

Not getting something in 1600 resin is normal, artifact mines are eternal.

I'm trying to be cautious in game, I don't want my World Level to increase as I don't have strong characters yet. I actually only have 3 5-star heroes not including the Traveler. So, can I go thru the Archon Quests without raising the world level? I'm just farming for Primogems. I've done almost all the World quests and story quests. Many additional quests are locked behind the Archon quests.

Tbh I don't have an actual answer for your question but if you post your roster, we can probably help you set up a simple overworld team that should handle things. 5\* units aren't particularly needed to clear. I never felt a difficulty spike until maybe the last bump or so, which just takes a little bit of time to to readjust your playstyle is all.

As long as you're keeping your main dps and/or sub dps, weapons and talents at their highest level possible, it should be fine.

I need any tips/advice against the first stygian boss, the nightmare dogs

I dont have any luna characters and I struggle already with menacing. From my understanding without lunar I need to kill the 4 dogs but I lack the damage to do so. I tried it with venti grouping but I cant get my energy fast enough for the first+ to kill them afterwards.

My team was Venti, Mavuika C2, Benett C6, Iansan C2

Killing the chickens is right. Not much else to add other than get all the ER you need for Venti. Fav/sac, ER sands, pieces with individual high rolls, whatever.

I'd probably also swap out Iansan for some cryo enabler. Getting melts is considerably more valuable than more ATK.

Use Sac Bow, ER sands. As much ER subs as possible. Build more ER on Iansan and funnel her fav particles to him. If that still doesn't work, forget VV. Use a 2p2p ER set

Alternatively, try to use Sucrose as grouping maybe? since I assume you don't have Kazuha. Her grouping is worse but she will generate more energy faster

hmm, well, is it? I would imagine so, if Chasca is a bit invested. I won't try to guess your characters, but putting a cryo in instead of Raiden and maybe pyro traveler instead of Mona would be noticeable better.

I'd choose Layla or Diona for the cryo slot, just to have a shield.

Zibai and Nefer are stronger teams while Columbina+Inefa is more of a generalist duo that you can basically slap anyone into and will still be pretty decent. My answer to which would be better is clear, a strong team that is strong enough to brute force things is better than a team that acts flexible but then fails to deliver on the damage. It ceases to actually be versatile in practice

Acquisition for limited outfits is almost entirely p2p, there isn't really a free limited income like primogems. You can get some 'Geodes of Replication' from the BP, but those are only usable on the Standard Banner equivalent. The limited banners require Keystones that normally are paid only. (There was one event where players could earn 10 pulls).

doing story, events or exploration already got you more points then you will ever spend this year, but you will lose it at the end of the region, when new region comes

Sigurd mechanics:

First is just a guy that you fight. He has a big ult that you can avoid or try to i frame. Once you kill him

He turns into a wild hunt enemy. Wild hunt enemies have a grey bar and a red bar for their hp. When you kill the red part of their hp they will gain a bit of grey bar and then be damageable to their grey bar for a bit. Additionally, he will summon four small wild hunt enemies and after a set amount of time will sacrifice them to try and heal his grey bar back up. If you have two nod krai characters, you can sometimes hit it with abilities that are enhanced that will deal damage directly to the grey hp bar. When the grey hp bar finishes filling up, then you have defeated the enemy.

So there are a few different approaches to the enemy. You would like enough damage to be able to kill it in time, but you would also like to have periods of high damage so you can take advantage of the short windows to deal more grey bar damage. You can have two NK characters on the team and have some of your damage enhanced by that to deal direct grey bar damage. Single target damage dealers would like to be able to interrupt him while he is trying to sacrifice the minions so that he doesn't self heal, aoe damage dealers would like to be able to hit all of them at the same time so that he can't absorb them and continues to take damage.

I have found that regular hyperbloom teams are not a good match up for the enemy as hyperbloom has consistent damage over a long period of time while the boss slightly favors high frontloads. I have found success with bringing regular damage dealers (Skirk/Arle/Mav) and adjusting their rotations to better take care of the enemy. With the side of the abyss favoring electro and hydro reactions, I brought a Clorinde/Nahida/Fischl/Xingqiu team and it was able to defeat it in time, but I have seen a few other electro carries be able to do the same.

I have how new R1 and also am intended to use the new hexerei set which gives 18% ATK by default. I just found an EM main line sands with double crit+ ER. Is this ever comparable to an ATK+Double crit sands? Or should I keep hunting?

atk is better, pre-buff em was competitive in aoe but post-buff atk is always best. dmg%, he gets plenty of atk from other sources but not a lot of dmg%

chev+iansan+durin or mav depending on investment. durin is better if you want varesa herself to do most of the damage, mav is better if you do some cas on her. fischl can be used instead of iansan if shes c6, durin is in the pyro slot, and your iansan is c0; but with cons iansan is bis

xianyun teams are only good if you dont have durin or mav since their 4\* alternatives suck

chev cant proc tenacity, put her on noblesse

Yeah that was my mistake with Chev. I have C0 Iansan, C6 Chev, and no Durin (Mav is C0, no signature on anyone) I use Iansan for bosses and overworld and mob clearing use Raiden EM b4 and now Ineffa EM from my hyperbloom team. My Fischl got to C6 with Columbina but since no Durin it doesn't matter here. Thanks for explaining.

ToM is a waste on Chev. no off field skill damage to make use of it. Noblesse instead.
Varesa team team last slot would be Iansan, she can hold scroll set

of course the team that fully buffs Varesa would be better than the team that does not do much for Varesa. Mavuika being in there is also a big factor, but i think even a Durin+Varesa team could surpass a Bineffa team using Varesa

I read the descrip. of T.o.M rn and you are right. I swear that around when she came out people said to use that one on her, something that still triggers the passive bc of the heal. How stupid I am. Luckily I never completed the build. I have Mav but no Durin, and she is there for the only off-field pyro dmg that is not a burst at the time as well, and also dmg. I forgot of Iansan, but I did use her if I had to fight bosses, for overworld and mobs I just used Raiden EM and now Ineffa since I used them for hyperbloom. Thanks for the answer.

I kinda stopped playing Genshin back back when natlan came out because of I was too busy but i recently started back because I wanted to not only play all of the new AQ but also get columbina (I think that’s how it’s spelled?) so I’m kind of wondering if there’s a certain order that I need to play AQ’s in…

I stopped playing right after the AQ where we went and saved kachina from the abyss and then had a celebration party or something along those lines I think. But when I went to start the natlan AQ that should come right after that, i noticed that there’s now a AQ in mondstadt that’s talking about the windbloom festival (I thought the windbloom festival only came during events..?) should I play that quest before the natlan one?

I saw on another Reddit question that someone made a google doc which had the order but it honestly confused me… anyway, thanks in advance!

They just added a quest overview feature in-game that shows a timeline of quests. Go to your quest log and click the button on the bottom that says quest overview, then click travel log for the main quests. I believe based on that Paralogism (the windblume quest) happens after Fontaine, but it came out after Natlan if you'd prefer release order.

Hi guys, I am currently waiting to pull for Mavuika, since she has skipped me in her last two banners. I'm still saving up for her, but regarding her teammates, I don't really know what I should do. I currently have C0 Furina, C0 Xilonen, C1 Bennett, and C6 Iansan. I have a team in mind, but my real question is:

I'll get Mavuika C0. Should I go and wait for Citlali, or should I get her weapon?

If I get her weapon, I could use a team of C0 R1 Mavuika, C0 Furina, C0 Xilonen, and C6 Iansan for the best damage performance. I think Iansan C6 is by far better than a C1 Bennett.

But, if I decide not to go for Mavuika's R1, I will be able to pull for Citlali. I don't know if it's worth it though, since I already have Furina and a chance to get her weapon too.

What do you guys think? I've been thinking about this for days. Smh.

I think you could probably break that with Flins/Columbina/Sucrose/Fischl, but I don't have those particular characters to test and see if that would not be over 50k. You also have a nahida hyperbloom core that should be able to do more than 50k as I have tried it before and Nahida/Xingqiu/Kuki trio was 60k ish without pushing it too hard.

So it is possible that it could be play issue?

Yes it shows the characters that you currently have on your display. You can cycle through them to show all of them, or you can take a screenshot of your hoyolab if you want to just show the characters and not their builds.

Kazuha/Yelan/Arlecchino/Bennett(orZhongli for comfort) should be able to take care of the overworld.

I need advice badly. I am a returnee player from midway through natlan to 6.2. At the moment i have bina and ineffa from nodkrai. And i will pull for flins on the rerun. So my question is should i pull for zibai aswell or skip and try to get esco skirk. If i go zibai i know that i will have to pick where to put columbina so thats where i get confused if i should skip or not. Keep in mind im asking this mostly meta wise. I will most likely have around 250 wishes to either pull for flins + zibai (and some aino, illuga cons) or flins + skirk,escoffier. Any help to figure out which option is better is much appreciated.

Zibai would let you run two different Lunar teams, but they would both be fighting over Columbina. You definitely can run Flins/Ineffa and Zibai/Columbina and have two very solid teams, but you wouldn't be able to run both of them at the same time. The relative value of getting both this Flins team and a Zibai team vs a Flins team and a Skirk team would partially depend on what content you are wanting to go up against (abyss/stygian fearless/stygian dire) and what you are currently able to accomplish.

Flins Ineffa Aino is enough to clear fearless doggo, so you could spare Bina if you wanted Zibai.

As for Skirk? She really got shafted in the content department. Shes still good, top 5 DPS and all that, but she has to fight for fearless clears at c0 levels. Her vs crab is not amusing and I can't do it. Varesa has been much more consistent on my account.

Or you could hold on and see what Nicole and Sandrone brings.

Help Needed from Chasca Players.

How Important is EM to her. I have a 4-line Feather that is:

EM (3) 89

Crit Rate (0) 3.5%

Crit Dmg (2) 21%

ATK% (0) 5.3%

I was thinking of reshaping it with Crit Dmg and either Crit Rate or Atk% as my 2nd Guarantee. Is EM good since she swirls and leave it, or roll? I have about 2770 ATK on her right now.

Also, I have a chance to swap an artifact and gain 20% crit rate, but I would lose 10% Crit Damage. Seems like a good deal, but not sure if I should do it. End stats after switch would be:

Crit Rate: 69.7%

Crit Damage: 181.4

My small brain says if I trigger more times, the damage will be more over the long run.

I wouldn't bother with reshape. It's a feather (common enough to find decent ones) and it already has 2 Crit rolls (so quite likely to not even improve, wasting the reroll). I'd save the Dust for pieces where it'll get more value.

CR-CD swap depends a bit on when you have that CR. By itself it would be a good swap (optimal ratio until 100% is usually 1:2), but Chasca typically uses Obsidian Codex, which already gives 40% extra CR when active. If your 69.7% is when on-field (including that 40%), switching makes sense. But if it's just her base stats and you normally have Codex on top of that, you're already overcapped on CR and would rather lose 9.7 CR for literally anything else. (as having more than 100% would be useless)

You have to trigger Bloom reactions (Hydro+Dendro). So in your team, you don't have any Dendro characters at all, and Columbina probably shouldn't be on-field in that team anyway, just using skill to give Mavuika some Hydro to Vape off.

You need A Hydro, and Columbina is by far the best Hydro option for Nefer. Because not only does she generate the Moons (Verdant Dew) with Hydro, but her burst gives you extra little 'diamonds' that can also be used if you run out of Moons. And she and her burst buff Lunar-damage a lot, which is what Nefer's CA damage is.

With Nefer you use Columbina as support. But without Nefer she can replace her as on-field dps and be driver for Lauma hymn buff. (Columbina+Lauma team). It's worse than Nefer damage, but it's damage.

1: the solution i know would work and would allow me through, clip through the wall

2: a unknown solution that i cant find because i don't even know where to look.

Ive tried using charged and normal attacks, ive used every element on it, ive thrown those glowy balls at it, ive searched the nearby area for mechanisms that could be involved. Nothing. Its part of a quest but im just stuck and running out of paitence /:.

There has been wall glitches before with geo traveler that got patched. I was also searching the area for crevasses i could climb into and clip into the terrain but no luck there either

Even if you *could* glitch through the wall, you'd probably just skip a quest trigger and be unable to actually continue the quest until you figure out the actual solution.

Anyway, no, there's no general-purpose go-through-any-wall-at-will glitch. Sometimes people find weird holes in the world geometry, but that relies on the devs just not making the whole wall. There's nothing that'll get you through any wall you want.

C2 Columbina is pretty good, at that point her lifespan should last longer in the meta than C0. Zibai is apparently good, but main dps' seem replaceable with every new region.

If you're f2p or just a collector, go with Zibai. If you only care about meta, Columbina would be a better investment in the long run.

Edit: Also keep in mind there are always reruns, and Columbina is likely to rerun frequently like the archons.

A new character is better than a constellation more often than not. The problem here is that if you’re looking for a Nod Krai DPS like Zibai then you’ll need to pull c6 Illuga to have her match up with Nefer or Flins. It’s very hard to get a c6 four star off the first banner if you’re only going for c0. This holds especially true as you have both of their premium supports.

I’m going to assume you don’t have either of them though, which makes C2 even more of a question mark as you’re not helping any dps with that constellation. Basically, both options are less efficient than getting either Nefer or Flins. And if you do have one of them, C2 will be better in the long run as you’ll likely never need more than one team to tackle Lunar content past 6.x

But since the damage and sustain is not an issue for me now, i won't get either. I don't want to change golden troupe on Furina after getting Escoffier.

You can, but she shines best with skirk. If you dont have skirk, getting her then building them both will take a lot of time and resources.

Furina's best artifact set is golden troupe. Escoffier also uses the same set, so it is recommended to put tenacity set on Furina.

Yes. Even for hypercarry Ineffa is best 4th slot for shield at C0. Lauma also gives 25% hydro res shred, so it's viable to use her over Xilonen.

there is a secondary gacha with separate currency, some different, nice but not AS nice outfits or outfit pieces
you can get some of that by doing the objectives there

starts at 1. and a capture radiance resets it to 1
goes down by one if you win a 50/50
goes up by one if you lose a 50/50
some chance if counter is at 2, but guaranteed CR trigger is at 3

She doesnt even sound like Nahida. The similarity you are probably getting is because they are both using high pitch and soft tone, like how you would if you are to voice a child.
