So jealous of the people with overflowing artifacts <\3

I’ve been playing since 2.1, but taken plenty of breaks, so don’t farm them everyday , I’ve been farming artifacts aLOT more over the past 2-3 months when I decided to log in everyday with a bit more commitment but then I need to level up new character artifacts and it takes so much and im left struggling to level them. My question is for the people with overflowing artifacts how long did it take and do you often level up artifacts? Why do you have so many?

i basically try and level up artifacts every time i decide to build some character
doesnt always have to be the newest one
but ya, been building a lot(Durin new set, Ineffa and lucked out to get Bina too) and likely gonna be bankrupt soon
trying to split efforts between the original and the newer NK artifact sets

Overflowing but it's all useless, imma just throw them to the artifacts conversion at the crafting table 😭

How long: No idea, been at limit for ages now. Had a year or or so of burning nearly every resin on the artifact lottery.

Level up often: Not really, only the best pieces get leveled. The vast majority aren't that great, stay lvl 0 and get strongboxed to for retries whenever the cap is full.

Why so many: Paranoid hoarding, and liking different sets for different characters when possible. I will keep potentially good pieces fof nearly every possible stat or set preference, including 4-star sets. 99% of them will never be used, but if I do ever want a Gambler Def% scaling set (I won't) I will have some pieces for it.

"so don't farm them everyday" that's why you don't have overflow, consistency is key. They won't pile up significantly over a couple months, but if you farm for longer, they will - especially if you don't strongbox.
That's why I'm close to capping - I'm waiting for LNO strongbox, I anticipated that it would release this patch, since we've got new sets, apparently not

Stygeon onslaught made artifact farming a lot easier. I literally never used my fragile resin and I've been playing since 1.1. Started with about 300 and almost out now

My only complain to mihoyo, why they can't make artifacts filtering system on strongbox the same as on the inventory

1.X player, Im perpetually at 2400+ and just crafting random artifacts to give to units I dont use. This is what IT has pushed us to lol
