All current Genshin Impact Characters can be put in 2 categories, are they or are they not Gold's Fault (do not take seriously)
**Traveler/Abyss Sibling**
Would not be in the Journeys they're currently in if not for the Cataclysm, which was partially Gold's Fault
**Kaeya**
Is the only surviving normal Pure Khanenri'ahn we know so far after the Cataclysm, which was partially Gold's Fault
**Bennett**
If the Bakunawa didn't exist the Mare Jivari wouldn't be in the state it was in, and Bennett would still have living Parents and not unlucky, the Bakunawa was Gold's Fault
**Albedo**
Gold's Son, Gold's Fault
**The Raiden Family**
If Makoto didn't die in the Cataclysm, Raiden would not be how she is now, nor would Wanderer have a need to exist. The Cataclysm was partially Gold's Fault
**Sigewinne**
Byproduct of one of Gold's Creations, thus Gold's Fault
**Durin**
Gold's Son/Nephew, Gold's Fault

Without Gold, Skirk would have been just another nameless statistic from the genocide of her people.
But maybe they will hold out that potential growth cause its a drastic change of his character for real since everything about Bennett before is being unlucky, from his skill, voicelines, and idle animations...
So yeah, his still unlucky for the reason of the devs ever getting back on him again since buffs is now a thing.
When Elynas was killed, his body parts regrew into the Melusines. So Gold is basically Sigewinne's grandmother.
That said, it's still Gold's fault.
If the Cataclysm wouldn't have happened, there would've been tiny changes, large enough than many characters would've been never born/not born in the state they're in now.
So the actual tierlist should be divided as follows:
**Affected by Gold:** All characters that were born after the cataclysm
**Not affected by Gold:** All characters that were born prior to the Cataclysm (Some Archon, Zibai, Nicole, Alice to name a few)
With no Cataclysm, these two would likely be going on adventures in Teyvat just normally, rather than searching for each other.
Miko was also close friends Mokoto. (In many of the artworks, she in small fox form is usually in Mokoto's arms rather than Ei's. iirc) And because of the fact that both Ei and Mokoto wasn't in Inazuma due to the cataclysm, she also lost her predecessor/friend Kitsune Saiguu to the disaster in Inazuma.
As for Furina, she is Focalors' human half, created as part of Focalors' plan to stop the flood. But Focalors was only made the hydro archon because her predecessor Egeria died in the Cataclysm. Without the Cataclysm, Egeria would have still been the hydro archon and Furina would still be a part of Focalors.
