HOYo is extremely good at procrastination and wasting tons of time with other things, like MW, so that they don't have to do somethign with the things, that have bever seen in this game any continuation..
Tons of discontinued Story Quests from which not a single one is at all completed, except maybe those story quests of the Natlan 5S, as MHY treated these characters for the first tiem completely different with own UI for their story quests..
Lots of discontinued or not even started at all hangouts
MHY treats the game like being able to do and work on lots of stuff at the same time, but they NEVER fucking completely ANYTHING they begin with...
the only exception to this rule so far is TCG.. thats the only content of the whole game, where you seriously see, that MHY constant effort into it to expand it.. without a single break ever sicne its implementation, TCG has ALWAYS received new content ..
would MHY just treat many other things of the game with the same respect and energy to keep on continuing the content always, like they do that with TCG.. then this game would be so so incredibly much better by now

Eh, I can't fault her. I have some Genshin fanfics I started in 2020 that I also still haven't finished 5 years later 😂 At least she managed a whole volume before giving up!
AND she has to actually go out and do research/fieldwork to learn more Hilichurl vocabulary first. If anything, it's *our* fault she isn't making progress, because we're all using encounter points for dailies now instead of helping Ella with her research...
