Well I don’t think Layla has any moon connections at least not anymore, but she has star related interests, and star in Teyvat symbolizes fate, it’s written in the stars. Oddly we got random lore about Layla so much so they decided to drop in in the trailer for that patch, about how Layla’s from Tulaytullah, we also received a piece of mail from Layla where she was the only one to mention the moon event and how it has affected her. Either Hoyo is bored or maybe my pattern recognition is a little wonky. But I think another Sumeru arc might come about. Then we’ll see but that’s just speculation 👁️

Who would you consider to be a reliable narrator anywhere in Teyvat when everything that’s being narrated is filtered through fairytales and fantasy, real history is told like a nursery rhyme. No ones iteration of what goes down in Teyvat is reliable.

P sure that's the human body neutral position, you can see it with babies in the womb most commonly. If you lay down on a bed and let your body position itself to where every body part feels comfortable you should be in a similar position.(maybe not quite as ball-ed up as in these pics, but still relatively close)
It's a p common way to draw characters in anime when they're asleep/magically sealed away/floating in the void etc.
I don't think just 2 characters being drawn in this position is conclusive enough to claim anything.
