Best farming routes for mora?
I’m trying to find better ways to build up mora because I’ve clearly been wasting resin on leylines and still end up broke. 😭 I just learned \*today\* you can destroy artifacts for mora, so now I’m looking for the most efficient resinless options. I’ve been playing for a bit over six months (AR58), and I spend a lot of time in-game, so I don’t mind doing an hour-long route or so, but I don’t have any clue how long it should take or a normal route takes. I’d like to build up somewhere around 10–30 million mora for future upgrades of characters and artifacts.
I searched Reddit and I’ve seen people mention artifact routes where you can get anywhere from 20k to 150k+ a day depending on how long you farm. I’ve also seen a “100 artifact max” thing, but I’m not sure what that actually refers to. Is that a daily cap on artifact drops from exploration or something else?
If anyone has a solid mapped route or updated tips on making artifact farming efficient, I’d appreciate it. I’ve checked a lot of the videos that get recommended here, but some look outdated or are gone, so I’m not sure what’s current. I’m also curious whether elite routes are worth doing for mora or if artifact routes are still the most efficient overall.

No amount of farming can off-set going slightly over the top on levelling or building characters
When you do that, you'll realize that you don't really need any extra mora from what you naturally accumulate.
The artifact run will net you a lot of mora, but it's very soulless, and you might end up hating the game outright.
* Get all your Mora in the Serenity Pot Store
* Daily Web Site Check-in
* Search for all the Mora Rock Pile Things in the world
* If you have the star glitter stuff, buy your allowance in the Wish Store
* Cash in your extra sigils at the jewelry store for each region
* Go All Events / Daily Tasks
* Do your monthly survey / web events w/ mora prizes
Just to name a few
In addition to what others said, you can do 10 random world events per day, each gives 1000-1500 mora. They are easy to trigger if you log out and in on one of their spots, [like this little island in Sumeru](https://i.postimg.cc/9Mjv5Jzp/Clipboard-01-27-2026-01.png) (they give friendship EXP too, if you care about that).
Elites I used to do wayy back, was on a discord server, but I have since given up. Sadly I don't remember which one. But doing it together in Coop is way faster. you can learn from other players what the current "elites meta" is.
Elite enemies are inefficient so here are some other ways to get mora
-Chests
If you're ar58, you should have a lot of chests. Chests are one of the fastest ways to get mora. Just not repeatable.
-Dog at Inazuma
There is a spot in Inazuma where you can log out and login back to get a random event(this is just the name. It's not random) you can feed the dog to get 1k~1.8k mora. Search up "Feed the puppy random event"
The daily "100 artifact max" refers to the cap of 100 investigation spots you can collect in a day. So if you accidentally investigate a spot that just gives ores or veggies, that would count towards the limit. But if you get to the 100 spot limit, the investigation spots don't just disappear immediately. They stay around until you get out of their "range". That just means you can get to 99 spots then go to an area with a ton of artifact spots like the Easybreeze market (23 spots) or Khemenu temple (28 spots) and got over the 100 spot limit. There are also some collection spots that don't count towards the limit like the Natlan flower birds in Natlan and those sigils that Ororon and Citlali can collect.
You can also do the 10 daily random events which gives around 1k-2k mora each. Small reward I know, but I do those mainly for friendship exp. The easiest one is the dog feeding one in Inazuma but that requires one fowl per clear. Another is the treasure hoarder fight in Nazuchi beach which besides the clear reward, also has the treasure hoarders drop loot and exp (it's miniscule but it's still loot).
Try qiqis notebook. Players create routes for all kinds of things there, including mora.
