Stygian dire possible?

I've been trying to clear dire, and for now, there is only the first boss left, i was able to get him to about 30% of his hp, and was just about to break his shield for the second time, but timer went off. Do you guys think its possible to do it with this team? If so, can you guys give me some tips on the rotation on this team and if not, is there oher better team i should use? Other notable good character i have is lauma, but no nod krai dps. Thanks in advance

C2 bina dps should clear, you'll likely also find clears of her on YouTube

C0 bina main dps is 120K, with c2 she should theoretically be able to do this

Will try to get pieces on the dps set then, have none so far since i did not get any nod krai dps. So for now, I will keep doing the same team and pray i guess. Thanks for the advice anyway!

Also, Columbina dps with Lauma should be better than this team. Especially since your Bina is c2

I haven't even been able to do Menacing, this particular Stygian Onslaught requires an absurd number of Hydro units that I just don't have

This one is kinda hard, but if you have the right units its kinda shill. I belive you could try to use the jean cheese strat to beat the 2nd boss to save some hydro units though

Maybe try using Kazuha instead of Sucrose?

The idea is maybe you can group and kill the chickens too to deplete the shield faster (?)

Sucrose can group just fine with her ult since she gets the particles from the boss and kazuha buffs are kinda bad for columbina and ineffa

I do not have any nod krai dps, my ineffa and mavuika are r1 and my bina is c2. My aino and jahoda are c0 as well

Yeah you're not clearing,if your bina is a cracked dps you can do the purple thingy with that team,the aino flins on that shield guy,and a hydro application team with a strong pyro/hydro dps on the crab.Mavu could do depending on luck,overall though,you probs can't do dire here,do you manage to do it usually?

Not really, but i've done fearless since stygian launch, and since i could clear the 3rd boss easily with neuvilette, the 2nd one easily with the jean strat and the fact that i have c2 bina, r1 ineffa and c0r0 lauma, i thought i would be able to clear it this time

Unless your team is doing 200K+ DPS, it isn't clearing Dire. You currently don't have enough damage to clear it with those characters.

People who have never cleared Dire are misleading you with bad advice about rotations.

So is Columbina the main dps on this team? If so you kinda need Lauma as far as I’m aware. If this is the case you could probably try Columbina, furina, xilonen for shred?

My columbina build is on the pics, she is using sms and furina is on the neuvilette team. I do have lauma though

I would try replacing Fischl for Lauma, and replace sucrose for Kazuha. Kazuha can help pull in the abyss minions. Lauma will help shred and buff the columbinas hydro.
Edit: I’m assuming PA is for ER needs? Idk if your f2p or not or to what extend you spend but sacrificial jade might be better if you don’t have her signature weapon.

Isn't sucrose better because of the buffs she provides? She can also group with her ult due to the particles the boss drops

If you’re talking about the hex buffs those won’t trigger without a second hex character. And if you run bina lauma, and Ineffa, you don’t have room for a second hex character. You can try using her. I’ve found kazuhas swirl is a little more consistent.

I’m assuming you have flins based on your Ineffa build. Have you tried Flins, Ineffa, Columbina, Sucrose? That seems to be one of the more popular teams for dire? The other one is premium Nefer.

Might be a bit tricky. You can try dps bina or you can use bina with skirk and brute force it. Only problem with that is cryo isn’t a lunar reaction. You’re kinda stuck using lunar charge, or lunar bloom. You could try using Lunar crystallize but without Zibai it’s pretty mediocre currently.

Lowkey Navia, Xilonen, Ineffa, Bina might just do it. Dpeends if your Navia is cracked though

They comfortably did Fearless at C0 R0

Navia/Xilonen I do think has an edge over Fischl/Sucrose just because the energy and dynamics is really really good on the team and since Binas C2 does Geo procs as well 7% flat elevation is alot for 2 different reactions going on constantly.

If not Bina widisth gamba style + Night Sky, Lauma, Ineffa favge gilded flex probably Sucgod

If you're off by 30% hp, that's quite close considering that breaking the shield damages the boss by 20% hp so you're only off by 10% plus some extra. Your Bina will be stronger towards the end of the stygian by a bit since you can upgrade the talent levels.

Also what cons is your Lauma?

Only c0, I really do not pull for cons, it just happened that i pulled 2 columbinas in one ten pull, then i kept going cuz i knew her c2 was great, and got one more in the next 10 pull lol.

I see, ~~so that's where all my luck went~~. You could try Bina/Lauma/Nilou/Nahida but it's probably not enough with just C2 Bina. Here's an [example](https://www.reddit.com/r/NilouMains/comments/1qmqmup/dire_stygian_miracle_clear/) for reference. Most likely not possible for you though.

Your best bet is likely the team you're running already lmao. Max the talent lvls, get better builds, you can check out the optimiser too. Also, you also have the option of doing a bit of crit fishing for extra damage.... might trade in some of your sanity for the constant resets though but it'll give you extra damage

How much are you cheesing him already?
That's my core question.

You can push 1 or 2 of the Birds into him significantly reducing the required DPS.
Not exactly sure if that's better equal or worse than shoving all 4 Birds into one spot with Sucrose.

Head on this won't beat him.

But with some tricks, I can see it barely work out.

I've been hitting his shield directly, was able to break it a couple of times. Once i use sucrose ult, all the birds get grouped in the same place, so i guess i've been hitting all of them at the same time. Should I go back a little to hit only 2 birds with the boss?

How good is your Navia btw?. Im my testing Navia + Xilonen > Fischl + Sucrose and your Bina is c2 so its definetly better

She is 82.7/156.8, 2.5k atk,140% recharge with sig and on 4 echoing woods. I'm trying using her right now, but i think she is too weak for now, probably should try to improve her build

You test the team see how close youll get since youll be proccing both lunar reactions on elevation, also you can crit fish by upping the CD and lowering CR also you said you were close? And this team is going to be better

So this birds are a bit odd, you can do 3 things I think have a chance to work. All possible because those Birds can be staggered a very short time after Spawn.

1. Push ONE Birds into the Boss - I'd try a Sucrose CA first? Or a well placed E. Than DPS him down as normal. Saves you up to 25% of the Shield.
* Lunar DMG is multiplied by x3 when hitting the Boss, with one bird your Multiplier is x4.
2. Instantly on Bird spawn, spam Sucrose Ex3 hitting and grouping all 4 Birds in roughly the same spot. Than focus the 4 Birds. Make sure to hit the Boss with Bina E in order for him to drop that ER care package.
* Hitting all 4 Birds with AoE also gives you a x4 Multiplier. So this should be equal to #1. Pick what's easier and faster for you.
3. *As #1, but after that first Bird is pushed run to second one close to him an run into him to push it into the Boss, or close enough that Sucrose Burst does the rest. Do your rotation after #1, than instead of normal Sucrose-On-Field-Time do the pushing work.*
* *This I give the lowest chance of success honestly because it needs to be executed perfectly, but is theoretically the highest damage multiplier of x5 when hitting 2 Birds + Boss.*
