This is dialogue from when Arlecchino opened the portal to get the Crimson Moon marrow, I’m doing it on my alt acc after finishing the newest one on my main lol.

It's Sonnet, also it's not hard to guess it's one of the moon goddess. The main question before 6.3 is how did she know Columbina.

You should probably pay a bit more attention to the story. Columbina met the moon goddesses in the far past, which includes before Genshin's story even began. So of course she would know who Columbina is, she met her a very long ago.

No, because again, it’s badly worded. You could read it the way you’re reading it, but what I saw what was the main question was how she knew Columbina before 6.3. A comma would’ve helped.

You can tell that they probably don't know how to write in English that well, or they're still learning it from their other comment. Please read the entire line, it's not even long. We learn about her journey in 6.3, so BEFORE 6.3 we literally don't know about the journey to the past.

One of the theories before 6.3 was that she mistakes Columbina for someone else or she is speaking to someone else via Columbina but its now clear that's not the case.

Well, in Chinese, Sonnet calls her "希珀".

Columbina's surname in Chinese is "***希珀***塞莱尼娅"

So yes, she just calls her Hypo. Since that is the original language, you can assume it's like that in every language.

In JP she also called her "Hypo...", and in the latest quest in JP Moons call her almost exclusively as "Hyposelenia" (after she's introduced by full name), while eng sub and dub call her "Columbina"

tbh the sadder part is that Columbina knowingly had to send Sonnet away only to corrupt herself with the Abyss and live longer in an agonizing in-between state of alive/dead, because she knew she had to close the loop / couldn't change established history (or rather has to make sure it happens)

Oh I forgot about this.

In retrospect, pretty eerie that abyss corrupted Crimson Moon, and the whole Khaenriah dynasty of it's worshipers ~~including Rerir and Arlecchino~~and Rerir hunting them only existed because Columbina set her sisters free from their prison. And reviewing the lore made me realize **Frost**moon scions were and are the only ones in possession of **eternal** moon's marrow and legacy the entire time lol.

Not Rerir. Rerir was never related to the Crimson Moon Dinasty. It was Tholindis who was related to them and who studied the Crimson Moon.
