How to get out of a potential soft lock?

my partner had this account for 4 years and are F2P, they somehow managed to get to World Level 8 while having very weak character. They took a 2 year break before nodkrai and just came back recently.

co-op is disabled due to the Quest “Palace of the Vision Serpent” being open but I’ve been on their account for hours and cannot pass it and cannot beat any bosses to level up their characters. Is there any possible way to save their account?

all I need is to unlock Co-op mode to help them level up since I have been playing daily for those 2 years and am a whale with good builds; could any possible combination of the characters they have have a shot at clearing the 3 waves in the quest and opening Co-op mode or any other possible way to get around the Coop lock?

Can you turn the world level down? It's an option on the main screen. That might help make it easier. I'd also recommend bringing a healer that isn't burst dependent, Kuki might be an option. Maybe a hyperbloom team with Xingqiu/Neuvillette Kuki Dendro Traveller and Collei. Good luck with it!

They’re original world level is 8, you can only bring it down to 7 which they’ve already done

I understand. I'd still recommend the hyperbloom setup, it's one of the easiest budget teams to clear with, and the account has the units needed to do that. If you can do gold and exp leylines raising the level of Kuki so her hyperblooms deal more damage might help but at level 60 or 70 she should be just barely strong enough especially if there isn't a time limit. If the account has any purple or gold artifacts it could also be worth it to slap them on the units and raise them to +8 just to give some extra stats as well.

I second hyper bloom. I'm a F2P full time worker + full time student and only use hyper bloom. Cleaning domains with mobs up to 20 levels stronger in 15 seconds with very low effort builds (you get the artifacts for your electro and dendro characters in the same domain).

There’s no time limit the issue is I have to protect some sort of heart(?) and once it dies the challenge is over, furthest I’ve gotten is wave 3 with 3 enemies before they killed the heart; I can definitely try to get her higher and fittle with artifacts but it’s taken me 5-10 minutes to drain bosses health to half before everyone dies

Don't know anything about your builds, but try diluc, neu, kuki and zhongli. Zhongli for shield, apply kuki E and use neu E and then Q and use diluc in between and repeat.

Its not going to be easy but should get you through, as this was the exact team I had when I did this long ago, but my characters were lvl80/90

couldnt you change the quest and fast travel out to get rid of the coop lock? i mostly play singleplayer so i don't really know how the coop lock works

Unfortunately not how it works, you have to clear the quest to get rid of the coop lock; it’s incredibly stupid IMO

Have you tried using the new immersive quest thing. It should remove all restrictions of the previous quest.

Kaeya, Nuevilette, Zhongli and Barbara as the team to focus on or tat would be my approach. Kaeya is lv 80 so he'd be the main dps until you build Nuevilette, and using Zhongli as a shield and a healer should help improve your survival rate, but depending on the artifacts I would still practice dodging. so yeah that's all I have for that but I'm also a masochist so trying to challenge myself is kind of the norm. but if you're stuck that would be the best approach to help if only a little. HOWEVER it's one of those situations you have to test out different approaches to see what works for you. Since everyone has their own playstyle.

Why not just try to gradually get stronger :/

It ain't rocket science. Once ur strong enough after farming, go bak and clear

If u personally can't beat a boss, thats honestly just skill issue, every boss can be beaten with lvl 1 weapons, just takes time to learn there attk patterns. Hardest one would be the oceanid atm, but everything else is just learning the patterns of how to block the attk

It’s not my account, and they only have 1-2 level 80 characters while the bosses are all level 90 most of their characters are level 60-40. It also wasn’t a boss we were fighting it was 3 waves of stronger enemies the issue was balance not dying and not having them kill the heart

I already beat it for them without needing to fight any bosses I’ve said this multiple times now. And like I said I will be helping them from now on to level up since they just rejoined the game after 2 years, they’re also our lover not our friend. There was honestly no reason for you to be so rude when I’ve already said I beat it long before you even posted your comment

Just use food to make the fight easier. There is no timer, you can't lose if you use food.

There was a condition with the heart(?) it doesn’t matter if I live if they managed to kill it
