Anyone come across things they think GI is doing, but cant quite prove it?

Mine is that they are using AI for either their dialogue and text conversations or for their VA’s.

I’ve just ignored some of the ones where you could say it’s just text not matching the lines - but some chatbots and dialogue with GI latest Bina story has a lot of similarities.

Additionally, the english voice acting when bina see’s tholindis is a little odd. Pitch changes and one line that sounds more bina than tholindis. It’s the line where she says “i couldnt kill the vinster king….”

Anyone else have things they are sus about but cant prove?

Well they definitively use ai, like most companies that dont admit it. Though i doubt its the images or the dialogue that we hear ai. Such mistakes have been happening for a long time as the vas have multiple takes on the script.

Where do you think they’re using it mostly? My thoughts are that they use it to draft, and then human writers edit

It seems more likely to be simply an overuse of the filter on Tholindis voice. And it doesn't sound like Bina.

Not me, but anything that breaks the VA contract would definitely be charged. Dialogue lines is hard to determine since AI does learn from every conversation so the better AI is, the more indistinguishable it becomes and you might get false positives. For pitch and etc, that's not something I can comment since I'm not a VA so I don't know the intricacies.

Genshin actually goes to great length for its voice actors when it can, when the old Paimon VA wasn't being paid by her agency they shifted her to a new agency, they endured throughout the whole Sag Aftra Strike, and only got involved in it when it was revealed to be a huge false flag and instead just a huge market take over, so i really doubt they use ai for vas

Also ai voices are still not up to the point where Genshin Impact that has millions and millions of players would manage to use ai and not be noticed by ANY of them, text voice clashing is not unheard of, its usually small things like different words for the same meanings

People call everything AI even when talking about things that existed before 2020. We used to call them algorithms or whatever. Do they use some sort of Machine Learning tools? Absolutely. I just used it to type this comment (suggested words, autocorrect). Do their translators use AI? Probably, the official translation tool I used for work now has AI integration. If they so much as googled "common Finnish names" they used AI because that's just the world we live in now.

Do they use AI for actual voice work? Probably not. Do they use AI to create new animal sounds? Maybe, who knows.

Having a brain doesnt give you the right to use it properly it seems

They are a Chinese company under Chinese regulations, they cannot use AI without specifically letting it be known

The only time they openly used AI was under a VA consent and proper payment for use of his voice while he was sick enough to not be able to voice at all

Then again, using "chatbots" as a sort of proof is definitely a choice

Chatbots are literally trained off publically avaliable content out there to make their algorithms work

Or Amazon using AI dubs on some new animes you can quite literally know its AI inmediately as soon as they open their mouth. Or Youtube autodub option

AI is far from good enough to not be noticed by the millions of players playing this game daily for you to come out with this one man crusade conspiracy theory about Genshin using AI somehow

You simply do not like or dont think its good enough. But thats not equal to everything been AI if you dislike it

Chat bots may be getting more similar because AI is (sadly) getting better. They aren't gonna randomly start using AI because itd be extremely obvious
