Huh isn’t it like 1 every other year or am I tripping
tyjz73_2026-01-28 13:25
They said in 5.3 that they would be releasing at least 1 new standard every year.
Rayyan_32412026-01-28 13:25
Oh icc, I think I missed that part in the livestream
BeautifulSpell62092026-01-28 13:24
Nicole!
TheLastTitan772026-01-28 13:25
No
BeautifulSpell62092026-01-28 13:34
Why? If there's going to be 1 more in the list I think she's still pretty rare 5 star
Platinum_61562026-01-28 13:26
It's not going to be Nicole 😭
BeautifulSpell62092026-01-28 13:35
Who're you putting up?
La-Roca992026-01-28 13:27
Might as well send Varka with her then for the full package

Shaho992026-01-28 13:26
Hoyo has the chance to do something really funny pairing the grandmasters
Puzzlehead_Lemon2026-01-28 13:28
If they did that I'd be tempted to overlook the fact he's borderline Razor side grade.
La-Roca992026-01-28 13:37
Razor doesnt carry 3 greatswords
Puzzlehead_Lemon2026-01-28 14:03
Now I want to see Varka edited to hold a sword like Zoro, he'd need a steel jaw like that early dude to handle a claymore with his teeth though.
I_love_my_life802026-01-28 13:27
>!and it's Varka....!<
Mozzarellus_Pizzus2026-01-28 13:34
No way it is, don't let the doomposting get to you. Looking at it properly, you can realize there's really no chance of that.
Neqtunez2026-01-28 14:04

HuTaosTwinTails2026-01-28 13:30

The annual tradition of praying my main doesn't become the next Qiqi or Dehya.
Liamhazelnut2026-01-28 13:52
Probably Zohan(whatever her name is the one coming up next banner).... Like we don't have geo standard characters
ceos_ploi2026-01-28 13:58
You.. you don't meant Zibai, do you? That would have already been announced in the stream for the current patch.
Liamhazelnut2026-01-28 13:58
What stream?
ceos_ploi2026-01-28 13:59
The Luna IV announcement stream we had 4 weeks ago.
Liamhazelnut2026-01-28 14:01
Ahhh ok well I was busy with work so I didn't stick around for announcements and such only for the codes and Columbina

“Every year we’re getting a character on it.”
I don’t think this has ever been confirmed? Only in version 3 and version 5 were new standard characters added which would make the pattern every other year.
…that being said Lohen or Gretel (the chibi if that’s her) are the most likely.
