I mean HYV wants you to do the WQ first thing when you get to a new area.
Definitely not activating all of the Sot7 and TP points as if that were the case, I wouldn't have triggered 3 world quest just getting to the second Sot7.

For me after that first busy message I quickly turn on focus mode for the meeting point quest since I figured that'd be the shorter one between them (also so I can unlock the compass)

My general rule of thumb when an area comes out is; unlock statues / waypoints first, then quests, then exploration.
Always in that order. Makes my life so much easier.

I hated sumeru when it released. It’s so time consuming to explore and the rewards also now suck compared to the newer regions so I fear it might be the only region I don’t explore

Unless getting all statues to level 10 is necessary for the story to progress in a later patch, I am not touching Sumeru's exploration. The only region where I legitimately get a headache even roaming around.

Dude I got the 3 seals in the first area under 60%. Second area 2 under 30% so far, and last area I have one seal at like 27%. NK ones for me went much better than Natlan, especially Scions of the Canopy area where I got the last one at the same chest which got me to 100%

Aren't the seals locked behind simply precious and luxurious chests? Pretty sure they have a set chance to be recieved from any precious or lux apart from the shrine lux chests

You always get 1 from the major WQ from that area, no matter how high or low your exploration is. You can clear literally every chest beside those that are locked behind those conditions, and you still be ahort for 1 if you didn't do this WQ

Nod krai has a bunch of fadt quest that give a lot of good chests, try doing some quest there you will get them in no time

Natlan rings were hard to find, sure. I personally got my last ring way after getting a 100% on the map. But the new Nod Krai ones are extremely easy to get. The compass literally shows you all chests in the area, so just got collect them)
