This post targets the players facing game stuttering after v6.3

So I was facing this issue after the update. `(for people who doesnt want to read my yapping, they can skip to the bold texts below)`

I have good specs yet this stuttering felt draining my life energy.

Lag and Stuttering are two different things, lag is caused due to low fps constantly, but stuttering is sudden fps drop which can be caused due to many reason, but one of the prominent reason is corrupt files...

# so here's the fix, yes really simple--> go to settings, account and click verify game files intgrety..

yep thats all, if you have avg/good specs, your stuttering will be fixed unless its caused due to some hardware issues in your system

Pretty much yeah. A lot of people confuse the two or use them interchangeably, but at least OP explained so we know exactly what they're referring to.

No they actually exist. Enterprise level hardware can theoretically use PCIE 7.0 now and 8.0 is being researched. Consumer level hardware is just the tip of the iceberg of pc hardware. Trust me, i regret going deep into this rabbit hole. SSDs are limited to pcie 6.0 x4 as 7.0 was recently released in 2025

That said, just turn off enhance pointer precision or whatever it is in win11. That solved my issue anyway.

Sounds like a one-dimension character. What happened to hoyo, they could build up some great grey morale villains that I could feel for. Dottore sounds like a cliche bad guy with nothing good about him

actually, most players say the oppesite. he's generally well liked as a villain. because so far, he's the only harbinger who's just evil, without being morally grey or having a sad backstory. just just a scholar who is incredibly narcisistic, has lots of ambition and lacks morals.

alot players have been feeling let down by other harbingers like Scaramouche, Arlecchino, Columbina, Capitano and Sandrone. since of these only Scaramouche was ever considered evil, then he got a redemtion arc and now he's morally grey. the Arlecchino, Sandrone and Capitano all started out as antagonists, but eventually became allies. and Columbina was never evil or morally grey to begin with, she's the only good person among them

this is why to alot of players, Dottore feels like a breath of fresh air, an unapoligetic bad guy we can colectively hate on, no redemtion arc (yet), no sad backstory. just a solid villain

There is no collective hatred of Dottore. It's a western illusion.

Dottore is a breath of fresh air *because* he is morally gray AND a good villain at the same time. He's not cartoonishly evil like the Abyss, nor "fake morally gray actually cartoonishly evil" like the Heavenly Principles.

You don't think Dottore is a breath of fresh air, you think your headcanon of what Dottore is like is a breath of fresh air. If Dottore becomes playable and his depth unskippable, I'm afraid a lot of people would crash tf out and claim he was "retconned" or "lobotomized".

i dont hate Dottore, i like his character. but he is NOT morally grey, the guy considers child experimentation and ruining peoples lives as "just another experiment". he has no moral compass or empathy. anything he does that has a positive result isnt out of the goodness of his heart, its because his experiment had that as a result

trying to spin him into a morally grey guy who does bad things for good reason is the true headcannon......

The headcanon is him being irredeemably evil. The real Dottore is one of the best examples of moral grayness I've seen in gacha games, who usually lack these kinds of antagonists.

Please, for your own sake, read his lore. You will get a much better understanding of his character.

Yeah, I don't know. I just finished the Chasm and Yelan's companion quest. It's a long way to Dottore, so the only things I hear about him are from this subreddit 😁

He is also the reason why Collei is alive and Columbina became the Welkin moon, he cured Eleazar before it was removed permanently, and he actually WANTS the heavenly principles gone, and he became what he is today without ever dabbling in the abyss.

Let's not only focus on his bad sides.

well, sure Collei is alive because of Dottore, but lets not forget that she considers what Dottore did to her as a not good thing, she still has trauma from what happened when we first meet her.

Columbina became the welkin moon not because of Dottore. he actively tried to seize the moons' power for himself, he wanted that power. it wasnt some grand plan to make Columbina to claim her rightful place. that happened in order to stop him.

curing elezar is also a stretch.. he more like, experimented on people, found a patchwork solution that left his victims worse off.

The reason Dottore is morally gray is precisely because he does morally disgusting stuff for a noble goal.
