Did the Teyvat sky change after the Archon Quest??

I swear the moon did not use to look like this. It's so much more detailed and dare I say slightly bigger?

I was looking at the moon (because I use its position in the sky to tell what time it is without opening the clock) for the first time since completing the archon quest and it just seemed different. I tried to look at the pictures I have from the game but none of them included the moon. Does anyone have an overworld image of it from before the archon quest?? I feel like it 100% changed since, lore wise, Columbina's frost moon is inside the false sky now.

By the way, something i'm not entirely sure of, is he moon now inside the veil of the false sky (considering, well, it seems pretty small), or was it only a temporary thing for Bina to gain full power? When we see Teyvat from the moon, it seems too far to still be inside the false sky.

It's still within the false sky. Columbina even states sitting on the spaceship that Teyvat no longer rejects her since the Frostmoon is inside now

The false sky is larger than it looks.

The times we've seen it broken make it seem like it's just in the upper atmosphere, but it's far enough out to contain the moon's orbit.

my theory is that there's some space shenanigans because when Mavuika broke throught the false sky, it didn't seem to be outside of the atmosphere, but when we were on the moon after the moon was pulled down, it still definitely seems to be way outside of the teyvat's atmosphere, but now is considered inside the false sky and teyvat? looking at when the glitchy/cube like effects when the sky broke or when dottore opened it, it's highly like there's only two possible people that have answers, Asmoday and the HP.

Not only did the moon change, but the patterns on the old moon match the patterns on Earth's real-life moon. It has some interesting implications. Why would the Heavenly Principles create a false moon that looks like Earth's? Could it mean that HP is FROM the planet we know as Earth?

The sky is still fake but the moon is now the real moon. Its very noticeable that it's the Frost Moon in the sky now.

No, the sky hasn’t changed, just the moon like everyone already said. Actually, the sky looks different depending on the region you’re in. Starting from the Sumeru desert, they did a graphical update to the sky but didn’t apply it to the entire game. That’s why we end up with different visual styles each time the environment changes.
