I am always baffled by how term "main" is used nowadays...
To main a character imho, is to select only single character you like so much that it remains most important to you from their first appearance to the end of the game/franchise. Not changing it like gloves when new shiny toy appears on the scene...

Razor was my first main, and as a result wound up being my first character to Friendship 10.
Ganyu was my second main, and while I consider her to be my current main, the truth is I haven't actually used her for a while, instead using a hodgepodge of other characters, none consistently enough to really call them a "main".

Beidou, had her in the Beginner Noelle banner and I ran her on National for a long time when I didn’t care about endgame and was still focusing on exploring the world. She definitely had me hooked on Genshin when I started.
My most recent one is Chasca because I love her looks and personality and she is great for both combat and explorations. For exploration I can put characters that hadn’t been relevant for my account in a while like Beidou on the team while still making it work.
I guess cool strong ladies have me in a chokehold lol

Xiao was my first serious main and currently still is. I enjoy his playstyle too much and he’s my favourite.
I do use Flins as my other main but that’s generally when I want to finish something quickly.

I still kept on investing into Diluc, I got C0R1 Xianyun and C0R0 Citlali just because of him, he can deal up to 95k dps with my C2 Furina, but I have given up on using him in endgame modes. Mainly because of enemy shilling, enemies that move around too much and how annoying his rotations can be. I hope he gets a hex buff at least.
I plan to keep using Neuvi for as long as I can, I have him C1R5 on Sac Jade, just about to go pull for C2.
