Playstation-exclusive weapons was stupid but even now I'm kind of disappointed that Hoyo didn't do more with Aloy. It does completely mess up their Descender lore, but if she was going to have to be put into the game anyway, she could've been a genuinely good crossover instead of what we got.

If I remember correctly, we just got her in a mail. No event art and no story, just a mail with some introduction text and a free 5* character.
They either had to rush her out or they just did the bare minimum to keep Sony happy. I think it kinda sucks that Genshin doesn't do more in-game collabs.

She's not really canon, but they had Alice voice her Collected Miscellany instead of Dainsleif since Alice is de facto Teyvat border patrol. That's all the lore she's ever received.
They also *still* haven't officially confirmed whether she'll get cons or not; even after making the custom text for the MW manikina. I don't think Hoyo had or has any intention to ever mention Aloy again.

Playstation exclusive bow has a kit so bad it is bad on Aloy who it is designed for.
Playstation exclusive sword has a kit so bad it is bad on Traveler who it is designed for.
The Genshin devs made a deal with Sony that obligated them to put in exclusives for Playstation players.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out what was going on.

The sword and bow having a base ATK increase wouldn't make them OP, it would just make them compete with the 4\* options.
It is possible that they intentionally botched Aloy's kit but you have no idea if that is the case, and even if so there is zero reason for them to apply the same thing to Sword of Descension.

You've lost me at the Sword of Descension. It's a completely free 4 star weapon for PS users, why *wouldn't* they make it bad? Sword of Descension does its job as an early game stat boost, but it likely wasn't intended to replace players' *real* weapon options that cost time or money.

I was actually using this weapon on ganyu. Even without the passive its still better than the only other option i had which was rust. It also looked way better on her than alloy which was so funny to me
