Archon basically means the king that rules their country.
Well no, it means the most powerful God that rules the country, but just think of them as the king.
And of course, each country has their own king.

prioritize like 4-5 characters u like and invest in them then make them as strong as possible at your point (DO NOT PULL WHENEVER U HAVE 160 PRIMOS THIS WILL BACKFIRE WHEN SOMEONE IS ON THE bANNER AND U WANT THEM BUT U hAVE 86 primos)

Some general tips:
\- Never convert Primogems into blue wishes (Acquaint Fates). You get much better value out of pink wishes (Intertwined Fates). The game will occasionally give you blue wishes just by playing; feel free to spend those as you like on the banners that accept them.
\- I recommend you spend your first 16 blue wishes on the Beginner's Banner. That banner has much higher odds of giving valuable 4-star characters than other banners do.
\- If you ever feel lost or unsure what to do, I recommend doing the activities in the Adventurer's Handbook. It provides basic tasks that teach you how to play the game, and rewards you for doing them.
\- Following Archon Quests is also a good way to find your footing. This is the main storyline of the game. On occasion, though, you'll need to up your Adventurer Rank to continue the Archon Quests. This can be done by doing other quests, exploring and opening treasure chests, doing commissions, and spending Original Resin (represented by a crescent moon - you can hold up to 200, and it regenerates at a rate of 180 per day).
\- Spend your Original Resin whenever you can. It is the best way to get items that will improve your characters. Early on, blue Leylines are a good choice (blue circles that appear on your map) as these will give the materials you need to increase your characters' level.
\- Do four commissions every day and report to Katheryne in order to receive your daily reward. This is the most reliable method for obtaining Primogems. If you get tired of commissions, you can spend Encounter Points to skip them but still get the rewards - you earn Encounter Points by exploring the world.
\- Characters have several ways they can be improved: their level, their talents, their weapons, and their artifacts. Keep them all up-to-date on the characters you use most often to fight. Characters like healers who usually stay on the sidelines you can afford to skimp a bit. (Note that early on, the types of artifacts you use aren't terribly important. That will become more important at Adventure Rank 45, when you can start getting 5-star artifacts reliably.)
\- If you find a Dark Iron Sword (a 3-star sword) lock it! It is a rare item that you may or may not wind up caring about, but by default the game will use it as fodder to level other weapons if you don't use a lock to prevent it from doing so. There are a few other 3-star weapons that are valuable, as well, so it's good practice to lock down one of each.
