I had something like that 5 days ago. Person added me and then started a chat asking about ways to get primos. I told them and then the conversation ended there.
A few days later they kept requesting entrance to my world and I had a feeling I knew exactly where it was going to go and I was right. They said Ineffa was their dream… yet they spent their primos on getting Columbina. Ended up begging me to buy them crystals and thinking saying ‘sorry’ repeatedly made up for the begging. Nope. Safe to say I kicked, blocked them and then uploaded a video of it to my Instagram as a keepsake.

People usually ask to join worlds to get materials. Sometimes, it'll be someone who wants to help you kill bosses and such. And then you have the cases where they come to beg you for primos as shown, it happens.

In all my time I almost always accepted people unless I'm busy doing quests; they usually just want character mats or help with doing a puzzle or finding a waypoint. I've helped a lot of people despite there being language barriers, some people I've helped multiple times cause they remember and come back haha.
Anyway, point is; I've only had one person come beg me for primos and honestly I think it was because I swapped to Columbina for my avatar when her banner came out. I usually use the Neko shrine one and usually get "normal" people so it coulda been a display recency thing.
Those people should be careful though all it takes is one guy to spend and refund on your account to really mess you up primo-wise.

I always have a fun comment or joke for whatever banner is going as well as world requests open. I've played since 1.0. I've had dozens of people join my world, but only ever had them beg for help beating something, but people seem to be getting weirder since maybe 5.0. Trying to scam, being weird about characters, raging at me for not completing something "the way they wanted" (not even achievement related). Idk what happened, but my first denied request was like this last July because I was just so tired of it. Maybe just bad luck.
