Props to the animator who can’t be bothered animating her speech and convinced the story team to just come up with some lore explanation.

Several_Bathroom_1962026-01-28 22:14
Oh this isn't Nicole, it's her evil twin sister
>!Bicole!<
Mammoth_Potato92222026-01-28 22:39
The biggest missed opportunity of the century was not saying her name is
Vocole
Several_Bathroom_1962026-01-28 23:04
Vocole? That's actually her codename you see her full name is actually Vocaloid, the most evil entity of all of teyvat, very few know about this fantastic magic. They lived in a civilization far from any ordinary mortals, it was called uh...vocaloid city, those who didn't hail from this magical real were welcomed regardless they were brilliant beings, kind and amazing but then Celestia forbid it and killed the vocaloids and ordinary people who lived there, miku, rin, len, luka, they all perished, vocole watched them all die, her creations, they lay lifeless on the ground before her , she cried, she wept, but it was then at that moment she decided to rebel against Celestia...
As the now homeless vocole roamed the streets she had heard of the angel Nicole, now they weren't actually really biological siblings, but they were created on the same day so she considered them such, Bicole was closer to Nicole though, Vocole was about to befriend her, until she heard that Nicole only liked metal rock and hated the art of vocaloid. Enraged by this, Vocole killed all the metalheads she could find. They all died. There was not a hint of remorse in her wicked eyes.
Celestia barely cared. Until she killed a fellow angel metalhead, as punishment Celestia cursed her to only hear metal rock through her eardrums for the rest of her immortal life.
"Vocole you will regret the day we created your ears for you, and the art of vocaloid" Phanes said, after the curse was cast.
Vocole's eyes were full of tears "No! You can not do this! No! Get this stupid fucking music out of my ears now!!!! NOOOO!" she screamed.
Phanes laughed and disappeared. "Have fun." A voice said before never showing up again.
Nicole saw her in Celestia cuz she was turning in her lore homework, she was on her way to the reception but she didn't even know who she was. Vocole looked at her she was angry she was raging. "You stupid....I...You took everything from me!!!!" Vocole screamed.
Nicole replied "I don't even know who you are."
Vocole's heart shattered. She didn't even know who she was. Bicole came out of nowhere and said "Hey loser" after she pushed Nicole's books. Nicole was annoyed. "Ugh what do you want asshole?". Bicole replied "Woah there language Nicole-". Suddenly her eyes turned to Vocole.
"Hey wait isn't this that weeb the shades were gossiping about!" She said before bursting into laughter.
Vocole laughed. Nicole was confused but rolled her eyes and left. Bicole ran after Nicole.
Vocole ran. No records mention her, she ran out of them the words Nicole said to her we're still in her mind, echoing.
Legend has it she is roaming teyvat to this day. Unable to kill any metalheads, she tries remoarsing old days of vocaloid, while metal rock still plays in her ears. The fall of vocaloid city filling her nightmares. She cannot do anything to phanes or Nicole. It is said she draws hentai in her room while trying to sing vocaloid.

Ship it, All aboard!
1ll1der2026-01-28 23:30
Imagine you get a lore reason to not have to animate mouth movement but still do(granted there is a non zero possibility that this mouth animation is automatic but still you had 1 job)
smegMAGA2026-01-28 23:43
extremely rare Zannir L. Love their animations and this is cute too, but man Nicole talking like this feels just... wrong. Easier to create emotions and make Nicole more expressive sure, but eh, still doesnt feel right
KimKimiePro2026-01-28 23:44
