Is that achievement hacker gone from the EU servers?

I know they were destroying peoples achievements for months, so i completely stopped joining or letting people in my world. I get random join requests from people from time to time and altho I wanna accept them (idm giving people flowers etc) I'm scared its gonna be that hacker or something. Is anyone aware if theyre gone or still being annoying?

What hacker?

Squildo2026-01-28 21:25

Maybe he’s talking about that purveyor of punishment thing that was going on a while back

I don't see the issue with it, really. You can get all three levels of it by playing any character trial.

That wasn't the issue. Players use that achievement to keep track of their personal best damage numbers. Even after you get the achievement, that number will continue to update as you get better and better damage highs.

Unless, of course, you run into the hacker and they set your achievement number to the max value (20 million, or whatever it is). That was what was upsetting people. And even some people who weren't tracking their max felt bad about an absurd number that they obviously hadn't earned.

The issue isn't about obtaining the achievement, the issue was that for players who were using the achievement to track their own personal best damage, it was ruined by the hacker making the achievement 20 mil damage so they lost their 'high score' so to speak.

I used to keep people updated on the hacker. I don’t know if I’ve just missed other people’s updates but I haven’t had to warn any of my EU followers since October.

Luckily, I havent seen that hacker for couple of months in game.

Month ago, I think there was a post about them using Xiangling burst to kill players straight away when they join for a domain in Co-OP, thats the last thing that I have heard about this topic.
