Then the next one becomes a guarantee again (either Capturing radiance or 50/50 win)
Then if he gets a capturing radiance (which is only triggered when losing a 50/50), the next one ia again a guaranteed

The 2nd win in your comment would only be capturing radiance.
It would go; guarantee, capturing radiance, back to 50/50, getting a capturing radiance doesn't count as a loss so the next wouldn't be guaranteed

It's guaranteed at counter 3, which may or may not be at the third 50/50. The counter goes down one (min 0) when you win a 50/50 and goes up one (max 3) when you lose a 50/50.
OP won a 50/50 before their three losses so they are now at counter 3 and have a guaranteed radiance for their next 50/50.

What do you mean "may or may not" lmao we already know for a fact how it works. It is only guaranteed AFTER losing 3 times. The 4th time is when capturing is guaranteed to trigger.

No, they're right. I was working under the assumption OP started at r = 1, and you're working under the assumption they started at r = 0, but it could be either (Don't remember the image and the post has been deleted).
Radiance triggers with certainty at r = 3 and resets it to r = 1. If you then lose 2 in a row, the 3rd is Radiance. if you win after Radiance, it goes down to r = 0 and you need to lose 3 before triggering it.

I can literally see the image right this moment. They pulled Escoffier (50/50 won), then Skirk (won again), only after that did the losing streak start. They started at 0.

The third 50/50 after two losses is more like 75/25 iirc, so there is still chance to lose that.
