Flins vs neuvilette

Hi guys,

I have columbina, no inneffa, and I'm stuck between pulling for neuvi of flins.

Which dps is more f2p friendly, and works better with the characters i have?

Your account is too new for it to matter. Pick the one you feel you'll enjoy more and save for their supports.

But, Flins is a newer character and is going to be stronger. If you're not playing for endgame and don't plan on logging in everyday to farm artifacts and build characters it doesn't matter. You can play any character.

Since you have Columbina, you should go for a Lunar character to make good use of the character. This could be Flins, Nefer, Ineffa, Zibai and to some extent Lauma.

Thing is, you probably can get both Flins and Neuvillette since your account is new. There are a lot of primos you can obtain from the world and Flins is not on the next banner.

I plan to get Columbina on rerun after I get both Lauma and Nefer. I absolutely love her green design. Btw I did lose the 50/50 on Columbina banner which is why I am skipping for. Ow

For you I would pick Neuv because he can self sustain and isn’t very picky in terms of teammates.

ofc Flins, if you have Bina. Sorry for everyone else giving a different take, but that's not even a question, and not one before having fun or not. You won't have fun if you only have Newvalet. Not to mention Flins is gonna stay relevant, while the other(at C0r0) is only going to fall off. He's not fun either.

Flins hes great and you have Columbina already if you need hanother healer you have Jean. That does the abyss btw on either side

Nuevilettes banner is bad on 4 stars to pair which sucks for him and there isnt a team either on your account atm unless its Nuevilette + Lisa ?? which isnt close at all.

If you grab Sucrose from hex invite you have a fully fleshed out core with Flins/Bina/Sucrose its BIS.

Lowkey with time you have the makings of a Gaming overload squad with Chevy + Iansan and Xiangling is free btw

Yah, i got C 3 chevy and shes so good, i use her as a healer. Idk what iansan does tho, and for the other electro , I use fischl.

Iansan is an atk buffer based on the characters movement it can be complicated but more a character moves the better and Gaming plunges so all good.

A) that video is not for the team you just described

B) That random video says nothing, it’s literally just someone clearing abyss. Just because a team can clear abyss doesn’t mean it has good team comp

C) iansan has zero ability to apply off field electro. This means tha chevruese’s res shred only lasts for 6 seconds at absolute max so no iansan does not properly proc her kit, you lose the shred for most of your dps’s uptime

Shes just a downgrade to bennet or any anemo unit in the team you described

Even if Iansan could refresh the debuff, Gaming chev is still a massive downgrade compared to melt and even more so without bennett and a c0 xiangling

I mean if you have Columbia and no other NK unit you’d rather get either lauma or ineffa than flins

However if you do just specifically want a dps flins is the way to go for sure. Neuvilette is really easy to play and still strong enough to be super viable but the powercreep is noticeable when playing him and if the current speed of powercreep continues he may not end up being that amazing, whereas flins is currently at the very top of the meta alongside nefer if you have their premium teams.

You also already have Columbina who flins really likes, with no premium units that neuvillete wants

Otherwise you could wait for nefer, as she’s basically the same strength as flins - just depends who you like more

If you don’t care about endgame/meta then who you pull for doesn’t matter. Pick whoever you like or find more fun to play.
