Do I have any good characters who could work with Ineffa? Does Columbina+Ineffa work good with Chasca? I am also probably getting Raiden Shogun on her rerun.
everyone should get ineffa. Bineffa is the best duo-wheelchair right now.

Chasca in particular would appreciate her (with or without Bina), Arle can also use her fairly well in OverVape or even Overload.
But you do have one full Lunar team with Nefer, Lauma, Bina, so I wouldn't say it's a hard requirement to get her either. It'd more just be an option for you, rather than enabling a whole new team.

I'm a new player that got varesa,my only 5 star, I succeed to do her f2p team with cheuvreuse, iansan and xiangling. Would it be better to save for mavuika to complete team or spend on ineffa
KyrrithK2026-01-29 08:32
It depends. If you're not interested in Mavuika specifically, Durin is actually better for that last slot in a Varesa team. Mavuika is only on-par with Durin IF you're doing some combos on Mavuika to load some extra DPS into Varesa's downtime.
It also depends on how much you care about endgame. If you want to get into it ASAP, having more teams will be better than hyper-focusing on just one team, and Ineffa+Aino can pretty much carry a team on their own until you get other units, with Fischl and/or Sucrose for example. But if you just want a comfy levelling experience, one strong team will be better for that, and having a proper DPS of both elements should prevent you from getting fully stuck on immune enemies.
TLDR; I'd say going for Ineffa isn't a bad thing at all, and while Mavuika is still quite good, now that she's no longer "50% better than 2nd best" it's harder to just flat-out recommend her, and some of her numbers are inflated by the new combos that are a little tricky to get used to. But if you do like Mav a lot or don't care about Ineffa much, there'll always be other strong units, so don't feel bad about skipping her. Plus even if we do get Mav next patch, you're new enough that you can probably grind some quick primos to get her as well as Ineffa now.

What about Chasca, Ineffa and Aino together, is it efficient? That gets the full lunar team synergies and artifact buffs yes?
KyrrithK2026-01-29 09:00
Yeah, it's pretty good, especially if you're using Aubade on Ineffa. But keep in mind that aside from the NK artifacts (and NK craftable weapon), Ineffa doesn't actually need Ascendant Gleam, and aside from C1 EM and C6 Lunar DMG, Aino doesn't do anything else to help this team. If you have a good Tenacity set for Ineffa and a strong Chasca build (or vertical investment), maybe Mona is a better Hydro option for buffing Chasca directly, especially with Durin (or Fischl) in the last slot.
Rough-Stranger-3142026-01-29 21:18
I'm looking particularly to upgrade my Chasca team and now I'm using Bennet, Fischl, Mona with her, so do you think Ineffa and Columbina would be much better there than Fischl and Mona?
I can use Aino in Nefer team, because that team feels strong enough, but I want my Chasca team stronger.
KyrrithK2026-01-30 01:44
I mean, it's a matter of perspective. Will the *team* be stronger, almost certainly. But it's not because Chasca got more buffs, it's because your off-fielders do more damage on their own.
And if your Chasca has cons, sig and/or a really good build, maybe it wouldn't be better than actually buffing Chasca. I think your current team is probably one of her best teams right now, even though it doesn't have premium 5* units, it has most of the best buffers in the game. It's more Chasca herself that 'lets down' the team by having relatively low damage at a baseline.

Ok thanks! I thought that enabling Lunar Charged with Ascendant Gleam for Chasca would make a big difference. I don't have her cons or sig though, so I think I pull for Ineffa to get more damage for that team.
