Interesting how each of their new outfit matched the other's old old now. That's just so cute! I just imagine how they would go out together in matching outfits 🥹

Back then I always find it odd how their outfits seems so different from each other despite being twins.

Those girls are not travelers, not all of them are realistic but if you take their actual professions as a context it usually makes much more sense

because they didn't bother to braid her flappy hair. they braided the hair at the back of her head, which fine, the player sees the back more, but the front just looks bloody messy.

I wish they kept the aesthetic that the "other outfit" was more conservative - Aether is absolutely covered in the new skin. A dress with actual sleeves and a long (or just longer) skirt (we see Miliastra, Hoyo, you can make it happen) would have been nice.

Well, since I have yet to see the new outfit in a cutscene (even the Selenic Chronicles ones are old outfit, and they canonically take place after you get your new outfit), I highly doubt that will happen.

my 2 complains would be Lumine's brown parts on her new fit is brighter than Aether's; and Aether's new fit could've used some more blue on his pants and shoes.

Was planning to do a side by side of the matching pairs(but forgot to do so) to see how bad/off each pair would look considering that the original looks a lot more "plain" compared to the new ones.

Tbh, the original doesn't look as bad as I thought beside the new ones. Each matching pair still looks nice together.

I think I prefer both originals. Lumine's is basically just a recolour of her old dress but the balance of light and dark on top and bottom is off. Aether at least has a slightly different sytle with the jacket and shirt but, IDK, it doesn't look that good. All the extra little details in patterning and stuff that Hoyo loves so much just kind of clutters it up.
