I think you're just underestimating how much extra mora you get from regularly buying the BP.
You don't need to build absolutely everyone.
But maxing a new character does consume about 5 million mora (without counting the artefact grind)

I don't buy BP regularly. Makes very little sense these days because I do not pull everyone and drown in materials.
I did buy BP the first \~2 years or so (I play since 1.3 IIRC) but eventually stopped due to the material overflow.

Just divert some resin as needed from the OCD artifact substat grind, that nets you diddly squat like 95% of the time, to Leylines and you are good to go.

Still around 5 ish days on her banner, you should be able to do dailies, some exploration, achievements, teapot etc. plus iirc we will get the free lantern rite pulls in mail soon so that should help too. It should be fairly easy to atleast reach soft pity and a few more pulls, and i think theatre will reset before her banner ends too
