Im not sure if it's an angle thing or if it's actually tipping. If it is tipping, its been doing so since 6.0.

As far as how it looks yeah it's titled, towards Mondstadt I believe. Out of game, I wonder if this could hypothetically be explained by the curvature of the planet?
Edit: this been a thing since at least sumeru.

The curvature of the planet could be a good point, after all we don't know how large Teyvat actually is. I remember CatWithBlueHat pointing out it still has one more nail in The God's Limits teaser. (supposedly, it could also just be a pillar of some sort) Since then ive been wondering if it's preparing to drop the nail IF there is one last nail.

Hehehehe. If it is prepping for an orbital strike, it's no surprise it's perched right next to Fontaine.
I think someone actually did the math for how large the planet would be based on a certain spoilery image at the end of the most recent AQ, but I dont remember the calculation results.

If I remember correctly, people started noticing it after Celestia changed from a PNG to a proper 3D model in the sky

No you're just seeing it from a different angle like how in the desert you will see it from the front and somewhere in Chenyu Vale you'll be right under it. I've been looking at Celestia for 6 years ever since it was a PNG and it hasn't moved or tilted.
