Rejoining genshin after a few years.
Heya guys, so I'm restarting more like continuing my old genshin account and obviously I'm lost. I wanted some recommendations on youtubers or videos that could help me catch up a bit cuz I'm lowkey confused.
I'm an ar58 account and I basically stopped some time before dendro was introduced and then started again here and there in the middle but didn't continue, this time I actually want to catch up and try to play till the end.
I also wanna know what banners to pull on and what should I save for and what weapons are worth pulling. In a gatcha carried f2p from the start.

As for meta, usually the more recent characters / new characters can easily bring you up to speed, though it's a little bit of a gross simplification
Ineffa is on her first rerun right now and she's had quite a bit of meta relevance, arguably the best of the Lunar characters so far. Incidentally she's the only one of them who doesn't actually need two Lunar characters in her team.
Lunar characters generally prefer to have at least two Lunar characters in the team (including themselves). This puts them in what's called "Ascendant Gleam" which activates certain kit effects. But they are mostly designed for three specific Lunar teams - Lunar Charged (Electro/Hydro), Lunar Bloom (Dendro/Hydro) and soon Lunar Crystallize (Geo/Hydro).
Lunar teams have had amongst the highest dps in the game of late, sitting up there with Mavuika (usually with Citlali) on who pushed the damage ceiling higher and Skirk (tied to Escoffier) who sat right behind her
In terms of speculatation about the future - so take this with a grain of salt - Lunar teams will probably be very solid for a while, maybe another 6 months to a year, but I'm expecting new gimmicks to arise when we hit Snezhnaya in late Summer. To put that into context, Mavuika teams and Skirk teams are both still pretty solid now I think, even if they're more than a few months old (Skirk) or even around a year old (Mavuika)
Unless you kinda just mean overwhelmed
