I was going to get this bundle at Canada Computers. But when I searched on google, it seems Genshin doesn't need such hardware?

Genshin can be run on any software that can handle its size and performance such as a cellphone and PC and tablet and PS5. There is not specific device you need to have to run the game on.

I don't know any game that needs a 5090.

Any game with Path Tracing at 4K (Cyberpunk, Black Myth Wukong, Indiana Jones, etc)

CP runs good on 5080 though, don't know about others

Borderlands 4

I run genshin on a 1050ti. It can be a little slow teleporting accross the map sometimes, but other than that it runs just fine
DLD_the_north2026-01-29 18:07
teleport taking a long time should be caused by loading textures and assets of new location from ram. Theres a black screen during teleport, that should require almost no rendering power from GPU

You don’t need it. Genshin isn’t that demanding to run.
If you really want the bundle and can afford it without putting yourself in financial trouble, go for it. But if your only goal is to play Genshin, an RTX 5090 is definitely overkill.
Zenzero-2026-01-29 17:39
No game requires a 5090 to be played
ANG3LBEATZ2026-01-29 17:44
\*\*\*Except Borderlands 4, Monster Hunter Wilds and actually any "Insert UE5 Game name"
The_Great_Ravioli2026-01-29 17:42
Holy shit OP. You need to hit the brakes on whatever you are trying to do.
The RTX 5090 is the most expensive GPU out there and is for top of the line gaming computers. You do not need top of the line hardware to play video games whatsoever.

Especially in this fucking AI bubble economy
Sacredfice2026-01-29 17:44
Nope, you should contact NASA to get their super computer in order to run. We all got one already.

If I got creative enough, I probably could run Genshin on a Raspberry PI.
Save the money from buying the 5090 and get some Primos for pulls instead. /s
MofoPro2026-01-29 17:47
Dont forget the 128GBs of RAM OP 😜
All kidding aside you don't need a dedicated GPU to run Genshin and it runs great on modern APUs with integrated graphics just fine
Spiral14072026-01-29 17:49
GPU doesn't matter for Genshin, you can get 1080p60 on a decade old card like the GTX 970. The CPU and storage speed is more important, but even then you don't need to spend all that much.
xd_ZelnikM2026-01-29 17:51
GTX 1060 3GB is doing it just fine👍
it3nk02026-01-29 17:53
do it no balls
natiewow2026-01-29 17:56
On 4080 the load is so small that it won't even bother turning its fans on.

>Processor: 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i5 or AMD Ryzen™ series or equivalent
>RAM: 8 GB
>Discrete Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 or equivalent
>Core Graphics Card: Intel® Iris® Xe or equivalent

Depending on the resolution and graphic setting you plan to play at, consider going higher. [Use this calculator](https://pc-builds.com/games/01H/genshin-impact) and aim 60+ FPS in your intended resolution and graphic setting (90+ for futureproofing).

you should wait for a 6090 ti, genshin will run better
Spieds2026-01-29 19:12
I'm on GT640 with minimal settings with no real problems. Pretty sure you don't need any expensive GPU to run Genshin
AdSmall36632026-01-29 19:20
Why would you think that or is this an attention seeking post?
lostn2026-01-30 08:56
yes. The game that released in 2020 needs a GPU from 2025.
