Have they marginally fixed the audio?!

Just noticed during the recent AQ the cutscenes aren't 10x louder than the game audio. After 5 years, it's now twice as loud instead but at least it's not bursting my eardrums anymore while I scramble for the remote. Thanks Genshin.

(Idk if this issue was exclusive to console or on PC too).

It's possible that the cutscenes use preset audio levels to ensure all the sounds and music is correctky audible. Have you checked to see if your game's master volume or other volume setting are turned way down?

People recommended turning every audio slider to max and turning down the console volume itself but I still found the in-game dialogue difficult to hear and the cutscenes way too loud.

Neh,imo sound quality has degraded after 3.8,i never felt it be the same,in the decent versions i find it varying,for this version,i'd say it's better than 6.1,6.2 but equal to 6.0

I have exactly the opposite problem, everything is fine but the cutscenes are like 30% of the normal volume
